Hola!!

It was a day of FT…one con mi amigo Melon and his new iPhone5 and of course one with Max’s abuelos.

Good to see mi amigo on the mend and mis padres were treated with seeing Max take 4 steps on his own.

Seems like Oma y Opa have lucked out a few times seeing Max and his development.

Ok, the day. Slept in...720am. Enough said.

A good morning and a fun walk. We hit the zocalo and were greeted by not one, but two of Max’s amigas.

And are they two different niñas. One is the hija of the peeps who sell hand made crafts, and for the past few days she has brought out her jugetes and shared them with Max.

Today we brought some of Max’s toys to share and within 15 minutes, she had grabbed them and wouldn’t share them with Max or the second niña. And then she packed them all up and left the kiosko and went back to her padres. Kinda funny.

The otra niña is just a gal who has been around the kiosko con her madre. According to her madre, this niña comes to the parque and asks her if they will see Max. The niña is VERY pleasant around Max and even though she brings no toys to the party, treats him well. And for a 2 year old, she knows he is a bébe and takes care of him.

The gang is all here.

Look at the niña behind Max...looking at him with intrigue.

The friendly niña.

The not so friendly niña...packing up Max's jugetes!!

The cruise ship season has started and we had one a few weeks ago, 2 ayer and another one today.

The crusiers check out the zocalo and some speak fairly loud. Things overheard? With a strong Louisiana accent…”what boat you on?”…”us too…but I haven’t seen you around the pool!!”.

And then today an elderly lady came up to the Mexican senora and in ingles asks “do you know where a washroom is?”. The senora looks at me and I helped the lady out.

What’s next? Confusion as to why the prices are in pesos vs dollars? Ja ja ja

After working up a sweat in the kiosko, home for a 40 minute siesta, followed by another 30 for padre!!

Off to el gimnasio and I was joined for part of the walk by mi familia.

They were headed to Jesic to check out the toys and such.

Good gym session, grabbed some pesos on the way home and also grabbed some cerdo chorizo for quesadillas and some molida res for tonight’s meatballs.

Late nap #2 for the lil’guy, so it was an alberca day vs a playa day.

At the pool we saw a niña who might live here at CP. We have seen her before and we always say hola and get nothing but a stare back.

Toady she was on the pool ledge, fully dressed, and following Max and I around the pool.

She then was playing keep away with Max…not so friendly. She dangled her keys in front of him and then when he went to touch (grab) them, she pulled them away. Doph.

So madre asks her not to do that and it sunk in. Next thing we know, this 7 year old niña has gone and gotten some crackers and is now making peace with the lil’guy by offering him one.

And surprise sopresa…Max took the whole Ritz styled cracker, and actually took bites of them, chewed them and did not choke!!

Great cena, Max was a little more vocal then normal, but we all survived the pm rutina and he is lights out after a few consoling sessions.

Two misc fotos.

Taxi stand?

Nope. New cantina has opened up. Doph.

We have a playera for Max that states Double Trouble. This foto shows real double trouble.

Have a great jueves.

Marco, Bexico y Max
