Buenos noches!!
11 de octubre…Feliz
Cumpleaños to mi hermano!!
And yes, last night I DID
jinx it by talking about it…so tonight we will NOT be discussing Max’s sleep.
Argh.
Great morning rutina and
our walk started with a drive to the hospital so we could ask a question about
a vacuna.
Max walked from the truck
to the hospital and we didn’t even make it to the front door when we were
stopped and asked for a foto. This hombre wanted a foto with his hija…$10
pesos!!
Inside, nice and air
conditioned, and Max went for a stroll, impressing all the peeps waiting for
their doctor.
And one pregger senorita
wanted to help him walk and Max scored another amiga.
We knocked on the vacuna
door and normally you have to wait, but today the same hombre as usual, came
out and I asked my question.
I guess we have no vacuna
due this month, but we are due back next month for 2 shots.
We hung around the
hospital as it was cool and Max enjoyed the glass front doors.
The hospital is on Blvd
Chahue, which has a nice corridor down the middle and we went there for a walk.
A little dirty where we were, so we moved further down to where there is a
tree, lots of shade and a wall around the tree, so it is good for Max’s
cruising.
The wall is 100 feet
round, and Max made his way around it, until he came upon 2 senoras y un
hombre, having some desayunos of tostadas and quesillo.
Max stopped, and then gave
them his stare down and the next thing I know, the lil’hombre is having his own
post desayunos “snack”. The peeps loved the fact he would eat and of course,
how cute the kid is.
Hot, so back to the
camioneta for agua and then home foe leche y nap. And after our hour plus
siesta, madre took over and padre puttered around and finally headed out to el
gimnasio.
Joined by mi familia for
part of the walk…maybe that is why I had such a good workout?
Headed home and then out
to Gabriel’s to touch base with Daniel. I wanted to double check the wording we
have for the invites to Max’s fiesta.
We don’t want peeps to
spend their hard earned $$ on regalo, so we wanted to put on the invite that we
would donate the gifts to needy peeps.
Daniel says that is a
great idea, but not a costumbre (custom) here, and that it could offend peeps
that DO want to spend their hard earned $$ on a gift for the lil’guy.
So we came up with a
frasa…no gifts required, your presence on this important date is what matters
to us….or something like that.
The family is a little
pooped today, so we decided for alberca time vs playa time.
Still fun, and a lot less
work….phew. And it was fun for all of us as Max now walks on his own on the
underwater seats…with a big smile on his face.
After the swim…the pm
rutina and you are all caught up with the day in Huatulco.
There are no fotos
today…very raro!! But in lieu of fotos, we have this Halloween video of Max.
The Mojon meet was
postponed again…a bad sign? It is now tomorrow morning….stay tuned.
Off to watch a little more
NFL, set up the 1000 mats in the PP, and then call it a night.
Have a great viernes.
Marco, Bexico y Max
