Max in his new gorra...an Elmo one. Padre lost not only his last hat, but his Elmo stuffed toy...of padre!! Ja ja ja

Hola mis amigos!!

10pm...a later day…been puttering around, including some Max time as he fell asleep and then needed his normal consoling 45 minutes after falling asleep.

An awesome day…mainly because we are watching Max develop before our eyes.

No more slinging….we did our morning walk just me and the lil’hombre!! Walk a few feet, carry Max a few feet, walk a few more etc.

What’s exciting is now peeps that are used to seeing him in the sling, are blown away to see him standing on his own and walking solito.

So it is almost like we are re-introducing him to the town…and there are many peeps that love Max. And most are almost as excited and proud of his walking as we are.

They love his size….huge for Mexican standards…his hair color y chinos and now he walks!! Oh yeah…and he has learned to wave!!

Not sure what is triggering the wave…and how to stop it as he pretty much does it for 5 minutes after he starts, but having peeps say adios and then having Max wave at them…priceless!!

So, the usual rutina, but now done slingless. A great siesta and then madre took over as I got ready for el gimnasio.

The day was overcast and the clouds broke open as I was heading out the door, so I took the camioneta. All good.

After the gym, I came home and found nap #2 in process and it was not a long one. Normally after nap #2, we decide if it is a pool or playa day…and how long la cena takes to make is part of the decision.

Cloudy day and dinner would be an hour, so it was a walk day instead. The familia headed out and within 5 minutes, a torrential downpour occurred.

We hung out under an awning, Max practicing walking and at the same time he entertained the peeps working at the tienda.

And with the torrential rain, we received more rain in 20 minutes, then Vancouver has received since July 4th!! Well, at least according to what I saw on Global News tonight.

Twenty minutes later, the lluvia stopped and off we went...puddle jumping.

Hola to a bunch of peeps and of course a display of Max’s newly acquired skills…and the lil’guy was pooped.

So onto the shoulders of his padre and off we all went. Home for the pm rutina that included the oh so good pollo muslo!!

And you are pretty much caught up with the day.

Mojon? Meeting with Roman is supposedly mañana…not worried and I want him to get the numbers right. Stay tuned.

Mañana we also have lunch with our Puck’s amigos, Karen y Randy. We are going to catch up and also discuss the fiesta for the lil’guy.

Here are some fotos, all taken ayer.

The niña that owns the pelota (ball) has left the kiosko and Max wants to know where she has gone.

Ok...I installed the gate higher, so Max would not push on the screen. So he climbs higher now...and guess who forgot to secure the screen door closed?

Escape from Alcatraz?

And here is a foto that is both new and old. Part of the foto was taken a few days ago and the other half is from January 1966. Both of us are 11 months old in the fotos…is there any resemblance?

Thank you O & O for sending out the old fotos.

Have a great miercoles!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
