830pm, major thunder and lightning show has started…no lluvia yet. Temperatures…a muggy 31 right now…ugh. Oh well…a few more weeks and that will all change…here and in Van!!
Standard day here in Huatulco. Overcast for most of the day, and it was hot from the get go.
Other then el gimnasio, I hit up a few tiendas looking at lavadora y secadoras. I had a great 20 minute chat with one hombre who was the first person here to clue me in on this factoid…all the dryers sold here are plumbed for natural gas. There is no natural gas here, everyone uses LP. So…I will need a plomero to convert (cambio…change) the dryer. Hmmmm…why did no one tell me this before?
Sussed out some prices, but the best selection y prices are still at Elektra. Where of course the stacking modelo is STILL sitting on the show room floor. Ja ja ja
Mañana I will double check all the measurements and try to confirm the conversion question. Next step…buy them and have them delivered.
I also stopped at Nissan to give Tony the gift for his hija. But…no Tony!! I did manage to explain the situation to Carlos and will return mañana to make sure Tony understands. Fun to go to Nissan and get greeted by the security guard and 4 mecanicos!!
Popped into Che and that was the last of my off the condo’s complex excursions!!
We did have some overcast alberca time…solo, as most of the Mexicans have left the city for their own home towns.
Bexico is almost done the Scoops animation and has spent some time working on it today, and will continue on her other animation contract over the weekend.
No fotos today…lo siento. Hoping for a foto filled sábado.
9pm…might go for a walk and try to burn off some of these oh so good meatballs we had para la cena!!
