Muy raro…no fotos again. I did not do a lot of walking around today and add to that the fact of the town being very tranquilo, it all adds up to no fotos. Lo siento.
We were awoken at 5am by one VERY loud and bright thunder and lightning storm!! Wow. I fell asleep again, but Bexico had trouble getting to sleep (and was hambre…hungry), so she got up at 6am and did some work. She has finished Scoops and sent it off and received a glowing email from the client.
They are “very particular” with all the details in their business, and are very happy to work with someone from outside their company that shows such attention to detail!! Very nice email. Of course it did come with a request for a few changes (make the dog less rabid looking? Ja ja ja), so Bexico is in her oficina working on those.
I had a good sábado. Back to Elektra to confirm sizes of the lavadora y secadora and chat up the boys there. Great deal on two Whirlpool units and I have already received approval from B10 landlord, so next week I will go back and buy them.
Next step will be to have them installed and have Roman or a plomero confirm the cambio needed to make the unit work on LP vs natural gas.
Despues de Elektra, off to Nissan and hola to the boys. Tony understood about us not driving an hour for postre, and was very thankful for the regalo para su hijo. He also had his chopper there and was quite excited to show it to me.
He asked me what he should get painted on the tank and when I said a picture of his hija, I could see a light bulb go off. Then I said he could have his name y the name of his esposa painted on the sides of the rear fender. He liked that idea too!!
Grabbed some leche at Che and then home and get ready for el giimnasio. A very quiet gym, but Memo was there so we caught up. He has a new pair of basketball size 13’s, but still wants a pair from Sportcheck!! Great workout and then a stroll looking for fotos to take. Nada. Unbelievable.
Papaloapan for our rib eyes…1 kilo todos para dos!! Thick…nice. Grabbed laundry and then home for sunny alberca time!!
Casual late afternoon, some web surfing, some ensaladas and the race. It was everyone for them self tonight when it came to la cena. Bubba had the chorizo quesadillas y Bexico had the pollo y verdura pizza.
No Pulitzer prize winning blog entry today.
Tranquilo domingo is on the radar and then it will be a busy week as we continue to knock things off our to do list.
