Buenos días!!

Currently 11am and look who is next to me.

All the bici riding pooped him out. That...and I guess maybe the 515am wake up had something to to with it? Oh Max!!

The usual siesta rutina for me, includes reviewing any fotos from the AM prowl or tour and then uploading the keepers onto the blog. Today being a Mojon day, I am also taking the time to jot down a few notes from the morning...getting ahead of tonight's go go go.

The morning? Early wake up, I love you tears, videos, Poppa snooze, tranquilo time, huge desayunos and then onto the bici.

I tell you, what would have taken us an hour prowling, took 15 minutos on the bici. The lil'man zoom zoom zooms!! He is getting waaaay better on the bici, but needs to look where he is going, keep the bici from going side to side...and stopping BEFORE the rampas that lead to the calles!!

When walking, Max stops at the blue painted wheelchair on the rampa. On the bici, that is his intention, but due to the fact that he is going quite fast, and is currently using only his Fred Flintstone brakes (his feet), he is getting close to overshooting the rampa and stopping on the calle. Doph.

So today, we worked on stopping at the linea, the line in the sidewalk that is before the rampa starts. Max does not quite understand why we now have to stop earlier...but he is slowly doing what we discussed. I need 4 ojos!!

As for head turning...no less then 50 peeps stopped and stared at this lil'guy zooming on the sidewalk. We stopped to chat up a few, and Max was nice enough to get off the bici and allow me to show the peeps how light and sturdy the bici is.

No one has seen such a contraption, a bici sin pedales...let alone with such a guapo niño on it!!

A long bici ride in the sombra as much as possible, and then home for leche and now, the siesta.

Here are the fotos...and then Bubba is going to take a cat-nap too!!

Pre-desayunos and Max has found the silla in the Palacio. Thrilled to see he just wanted to grab a libro and read, but I had to ensure he had the chair backed into a corner or else...bonk...I have no doubt he would lean back in the chair.

Off for our tour!!

One of many attempts at getting Max to look into the camera.

And another.

Almost.

Success?

Pit stop to blow a besito to one of Max's many amigos...this one being the parrot.

And then back to the tour.

It was hot, so once we were in the zocalo and found a banco in the sombra, time to lose the casco and drink up some agua. Max wanted to continue playing his bici, but with no casco...no riding. So...lots of pushing.

But that did not last long...and Poppa was enjoying the sombra, so the casco went back on and I gave Max some bici errands. One of them was to go around the fountain and then return to the banco.

I guess I should have been clearer on how many times I wanted him to go around the fountain. Doph...here he goes again!!

Off road to chase the paloma, to Max's left.

Abrazo.

Besito.

Ok...off to la la land. I will finish this off esta noche. Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! Currently 8pm and we made it home safe and sound from an awesome afternoon at playa Mojon, and due to our new Mojon rutina, we were home on time and at 8pm, Max is already lights out. En tiempo...score!!

To finish off the día...we had a great siesta, gobbled down our comida and were off. It was an overcast drive all the way to Mojon, but moments after unpacking the camioneta...el sol appeared and we had a sunny afternoon on the playa.

And due to the earlier nubes, it was not a hot afternoon...always appreciated. Happy to also report that Max was a rock star passenger going to and coming from the playa. Maybe this bodes well for a road trip? That and some Gravol...hola hola to sleeping niño!! ja ja ja

The afternoon was all about playing in the sand and a ton of swimming and olas jumping. Max, wearing his float ring around his armpits, runs right into the oncoming olas and then lets it carry him into shore.

Our job is to make sure the huge olas don't gobble him up, and to also make sure he turns his back to the oncoming olas, so it carries him away, vs under. Other then that, he wants to be left alone...with the exception of hugging his madre a lot.

Oh so yummy Manwich sloppy joes on the playa and then clean up, head home and then go go go. We have the rutina down pat and as Bex takes care of Max and his tina, I am on clean up duty.

She takes care of the first 30 minutos of bedtime, I shower off playa Mojon and then take over. Easy peasy!!

And you are all caught up.

Mañana? Nothing extra planned...but we are going out for pizza!! No cooking for Bubba jueves!!

Have a great día y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
