Buneos tardes...and welcome to one heck of a hot day!! It started last night with a full evening of humido, we only hit our low of 27,0 grados after 4am and until then the a/c was in use in Max's room.
Not hating (ok, maybe a little), just stating...hot, hot, hot. Even after 3 years here, the humido gets to you. Funny'ish to hear the visiting Canadians complain, when in the same breath they tell us that the temperature in their hometown in northern Alberta was -27,0 grados last night. Brrrrrr.
Currently rotating between cleaning the casa and then cooling down while watching the race. The familia is at playa Santa Cruz, staying cool in the water I suspect!!
The day so far? Wacky sleep...who wants to wake up and watch videos at 330am? Bubba took over at 630am and off to our usual rutinas.
Post huge desayunos, Max geared up in swim gear as we were going to go for a quick tour on the bici, and then cool off in the alberca.
We toured to Jesic Importaciones, lots of plastic goods, and we bought a few food containers, wowed the caja with Max's moves on the bici, and then wheeled home.
Happy to see Bex was up...familia swim time!! And phew...it was needed!! A 30 minute tour and Max drank almost his full bottle of agua. It is going to be an interesting 2 months as it gets hot and hotter...and then the lluvia will arrive.
Great swim and Max is mastering the gafas and spending time underwater. So fun to watch him dive under the water, kick his legs and then head to touch the bottom.
Upstairs for leche and then a great siesta!! And yes, I grabbed a little bit of shut eye as well.
Post nap it was time for our comidas as well as start the race!! And at 415pm, that is where we sit...on the couch with 32 laps left in the race.
Onto the fotos. Not too many today as most of my time on the tour is spent catching up to Max as well as ensuring we are avoiding all traffic.

Someone has been painting...and here he is being cheeky, smiling at his Poppa while touching the TV remote, knowing he is not supposed to. Oh Max!!
Ok, time to sit back and watch the end of the race and then start cooking la cena. Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!! Guess what I forgot...it is movie night for Bex y Bubba!! We bought a movie a while back, and have finally figured out that tonight is the night!!! Another Wes Anderson flick...we are at least one behind as we see he has a new on out already. Doph.
The rest of the día? A good race...long and lots of blown tires made for an interesting finish.
The familia had a quick visit to playa Santa Cruz because the agua was muy sucia. Lots of basura washed up and that is gross to be in...so off to the mall and the trampolina. Happy to report that the dirty beach is a very rare occurrence...phew.
Fun time in the mall and then home for leche, iPad time and a quick FT con Max's Oma y prima, Nicole.
A good dinner...Max ate it all and even sat at his table for most of it...score!!
Onto clean up, familia dance party and then tina time...and at 7pm, round one is under way!!
Mañana? Back to our lunes rutina!! This week it looks like one or two trips to playa Mojon and Max has been asking to go back to the waterslides...stay tuned.
