Buenos noches. That was Señor Serio sitting on a banco in the zocalo.
A tranquilo lunes for us here in Huatulco. Currently 655pm and round one of bedtime is under way!!
We started the día with a successful night...phew!! A few "manos" wake ups that take seconds to solve, one attempted escape from the cuna that took a few minutes to bring under control, and then a final wake up at 550am.
We snoozed until 615am and I re-set the alarm clock for 620am so Max realizes that it will beep beep beep every day, and when it does, then we can either get out of the cuna and/or start watching videos.
Usual AM rutina for the boys...videos, tranquilo time, huge desayunos and then a nice long prowl. And of course, while on the prowl, everyone is asking where the bici is.
We pit stopped at the tienda de copias and had the travel insurance package photocopied. This is all the things they are looking for so they can start processing the claim I have for the trip to BC.
$400 for the mis-diagnosis in Whistler and then $4000 for the stay in St Pauls...where they found out what was wrong with me, but not what was causing it. Doph.
Our neighbors are headed back to Canada mañana, so we asked them to mail the package, as well as the next set of rent cheques to our landlord. More rent cheques already?
Our lease is up at the end of September, but sending cheques now via snail mail is waaaay cheaper for us. Kinda wacky that the next set of cheques takes us to April 2015 only, as we are not sure where we will be after that. Stay tuned.
Good prowl and then home for leche and a good siesta.
Post siesta I gobbled down some comida and then had my regular afternoon...gym, tranquilo time, clean up, PM rutina prep and then onto cooking la cena.
The familia ate their comida, headed off for some fun at playa Santa Cruz and then came home for some book reading and leche.
Poppa went down to the camioneta verde to pull out the highchair, and when Max was about to be put in it for dinner...he was one unhappy customer. So...compromise time. If he sat still during dinner, he could sit in his chair and at his table. If not...into the highchair.
He then turned on the charm and went and pulled out his chair and set it up at the table, and also went and retrieved the small stool that Bex sits on. He was pretty proud that he set up the table, as were we.
And it bode well for dinner as he was super well behaved, ate all his dinner and did not leave the table until he was finished. Success!!
Clean up, big dance party, tina time, FT con Oma y Opa and into bed. So...onto the fotos.
A little yard clean up, using a hoja that he picked up.
Off road clean up? I have no idea what he is doing here.
I do know that he has moved across the calle and is now cleaning a triciclo.
And then has the "busted" look on his face. Oh Max.
Followed by the pretty pleased with himself look.
Pit stop.
Riding the caballo outside the Oxxo.
Inside the Oxxo, where the peeps who work there must really wonder about Max and I...we never buy anything and spend 10 minutes inside prowling around.
But...Max does rearrange the shelve for them!! Regularly he moves the nacho cheese from the chip shelf to the shelf with the jugos...and then we put them all back.
And you are all caught up. Bedtime was a breeze, still 55 minutos, but a breeze. A little singing, some manos and then a plop into the cuna with Winnie the Pooh...and then lights out.
Mañana? Che martes and then the rest of our regular martes. And then on miercoles...hola hola to Bubba burgers on playa Mojon!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
