Maybe that nap was the reason Max slept in his cuna last night, uninterrupted, from 8pm until 615am? Score!!!

Buenos noches and at 7pm with round one under way, we are hoping to have a replay of anoche, last night. What a great way to start the day!!

And almost right away, Bubba took over, Bex grabbed some more zzz's and then the boys headed out the door.

Quick prowl as I needed to have desayunos over at 915am'ish, so I could pass Max off to Bex and head out the door to see Tony, mi mecanico.

Everything went smooth and as I headed out the door, Bex y Max did too, on their own prowl.

I pit stopped at DHL and here is that story. Mis padres, using Amazon, have bought a little something something for Max's birthday. They tried to send something else they had bought in Victoria, but the courier companies wanted waaaay too many pesos.

But via Amazon....hola hola to delivery for $20 or something like that. So via online, Amazon sends it with DHL, who promptly cut off part of the address here in Huatulco, and it could not get delivered.

I was at the oficina today and the hombre quickly tells me that it is not being sent via DHL, but via correos, the post oficina.

I show him the tracking numbers and he says oops (en espanol) and enters them into the computer. It takes too long and he starts to tell me again, that the numbers are not for DHL...when the screen lights up and there is the tracking info. Duh.

Mañana we are told...stay tuned. Did I tell you that you can now send presents to Max via Fedex? Probably muy caro...save your pesos and send it to us in Vancouver this coming enero.

After DHL it was off to Tony...and how is the camioneta?

Argh....Tony forgot that to get to the fuel injectors, he needs to remove the turbo charger first, and to his credit, he does not want to do that unless we have a replacement gasket. It would suck if we are pulling off the charger and the gasket tears and we need to wait weeks, sin camioneta, until we can get one sent to Huatulco.

So after drinking some cola together, shooting the breeze and saying hola hola to Tino, his padre, I was off. Back home and just in time to get organized and then join me hijo in siesta time!!

I spent too much time looking for truck parts online, and not enough time snugging with Max...doph.

But Max was rested up and after a panale pit stop, he was off to the alberca con madre. After their comida they hit the playa and had a great time meeting lots of friendly niños.

I was off to el gimnasio, a few pit stops along the way, and then home to chillax before la cena.

Our cleaner Julianna was here today, so no need for me to clean. And it was left over meat ball miercoles...score on tonight's lack of cooking!!

The familia returned shortly after the dark dark nubes rolled in...along with some very loud thunder. Max leche'd up and at the same time, el sol returned...wacky.

Onto dinner, tina time, some dancing to Ghost Busters, hola hola (y adios adios) to Oma y Opa and then onto bedtime.

Bedtime update?? Currently 8pm and the lil'guy is lights out. The Whisperer went into the bedroom, the "package" was transferred, I folded his ear over, I heard a pffffffft and 10 minutes later he was plopped into his cuna...out cold. Score!!

Best story of the día? Bex y Max are on the pre-siesta prowl (Poppa at mecanico), and they stop into a tienda de ropa, to buy a little something for Bex to wear to Max's shin dig. The hombre working there speaks ingles and after the transaction is done, he reaches below his counter and pulls out a foto of Max with 2 niños, one which was his hijo.

I guess I had taken the foto a while back and we had given it to them, and he recognized Max and brought it out. How fun!!

Light on fotos...hope to make up for that mañana.

Prowling out front of the school and all these peeps do not faze our lil'man.

Ok, that's it.

Have a great jueves y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
