As The Duck Commander would say...happy happy happy!!

Buenos noches from a silent condo. Currently 750pm and with the lil'man was asleep in his Momma's arms when The Whisperer came in to take over. He was not only pooped...but exhausted too!!

I plopped him into his cuna and got him to snug with Pudge y Coca and he continued on in dream land.

Bex looked like a cat-nap would do her well...so now you know why the condo is in silent mode!!

Bubba got to watch the end of Duck Commander and even managed to type up a few paragraphs of the blog update....score!!

Can you say wacky day? Wacky day.

Great sleep...only 2 wake ups before 515am...but the lil'man had his sport panale on, vs his dream panale, and suffice it to say, he woke up with a "Poppa, Poppa".

No going back to sleep after a panale change at 515am...so onto our waaaaaay too early rutina.

All good and we even had a great prowl. Desayunos was hit and miss and I could see the energy draining from the lil'man as he was sitting in his highchair.

One "sorry" and I knew he would not be able to make the road trip...doph. So we had some tranquilo time and then madre leche'd him up and he was lights out for siesta.

I did the road trip solo...off to drop off some invitations to the fiesta. First stop was the INM in Santa Cruz. They were thrilled to get the invite. Then it was off to Nissan and I invited Carlos and Abrahm.

And last but not least, off to see Tony, mi mecanico. He will show up for sure, and next week I will take the camioneta in to have the fuel injectors cleaned. Tony thinks this might be why we are getting terrible gas mileage. Stay tuned.

After the road trip, home to catch up with the family and grab some siesta time. Bad news? Max did not sleep very long...doph.

Awake, and I mean wide awake, at 1230pm. Wowzers...we might be in for a long afternoon as he will be tired.

Post siesta it was familia swim time and then the familia had their comida and I was out the door. I paid our CFE bill and then dropped off a few more invites on the way to el gimnasio.

Our doctor's wife was excited to see the invite and could not believe un año has already gone by.

Off to the gym and it was hot!! Meanwhile, knowing Max's batteries would be running low, Bex stayed around town. Some trampolina at the mall, but then they kept it tranquilo by having a prowl.

We met at home for leche and la cena, a very quick tina time y FT, and then it was off to bed...and you are caught up.

Fotos.

Did I tell you I hate the new camera? For a point and shoot, it really is hit and miss for taking good pictures. Lots of fuzzy ones that would have been great shots...argh.

So here is fuzzy'ish foto number one.

And the clear ones of Max...the side of his head and his bum!!

A very friendly perro...a new amigo of Max's.

Gym walk fotos.

A new palapa being built in town.

Tricked out volcho, Bug.

Naranjes verde, green oranges.

A family business as the madre has just returned with her empty wheel barrow. Two dirty niños were playing and sleeping under the camion. Doph.

And just up the calle...orange'ish oranges.

A few shots from yesterday's trip to Mojon.

One very over grown lot...but it will soon have a new palapa on it!!

Still, great olas at Mojon.

This is an over grown road, up to some peeps property.

It has also been washed out by the tons of agua that comes down from the moñtanas and heads to the oceano.

Misc

Happy to report that we saw almost a 10% reduction in our energy usage from the last bill. And year on year it was almost 20%. Bad news is that having lost the government subsidy, last year's bill was $2821 pesos, and this years was $4365...ouch.

But having scored a rent reduction from our landlord, all is good.

Fiesta update? We are having the shin dig at a restaurante on the playa, and they have ok'd us bring our pastel, cake. We don't have a cake, but will be bringing our postre, pasteries, instead. So today I went to our local panificadora and ordered 100 penjuinos and 25 donas. Hola hola to $650 pesos.

But after getting home and chatting it up with Martha Stewart, party planner extraordinaire, it looks like I might have under ordered...doph.

This fiesta could turn out to be a big event...maybe 30 plus peeps!! Good thing we are only paying for the desserts, some restaurante snacks and the beers y colas. Phew.

What made Max's padres both laugh today? When I was just about finished brushing his dientes after desayunos, he said "all done". What a character!!

Oh yeah...remind Max we are going on a trip and he will say "airplane". Ask him who we will see and he says "Oma y Opa"...score!!

That's all mis amigos!!

Have a great jueves!!

935pm update...he should be passed out cold, but the lil'man has woken up 3 times already, unhappy each time. Something is not right...could be a loooong night. Stay tuned.

Marco, Bexico y Max
