Wow...the best part of my day came at the end of my day!!!
It was a "no rocking" bedtime for the lil'man...and he decided to fall asleep on his padre!! We were on the bed and he tried to fall asleep using my arm as a pillow. Ahhhh, no. So he sits up like a groundhog and I ask him if he wants to go old school..on the ol'man's chest.
He plops on and knows he is too big, so drapes his body sideways over mine, with his head on my chest. All movement stops in a few minutes and we have lights out!! Score!!
But it had to come to an end so his padre could get some work done...doph. But with padre in charge tonight...there might be a lil'bromance!! Ja ja ja
Ok, not much to report here. A fairly usual día for us, except for the 2pm cita con el dentista.
$500 pesos for a 2 minute inspection, but a 25 minute debrief...doph. Great news is that there is no nerve damage, it looks like there is no infection and the dentist feels that right now, the chips will not impact Max's ability to talk and eat properly. Phew.
The dentist said we may want to get some crowns, not really for esthetics, but to protect the rest of the tooth, but his advice was to wait a few years. We have to go back in a month, where Bex y Bubba will be needed to hold Max down as the dentist polishes the 2 teeth...yikes.
Max did not like the 2 minutes being held down by his madre y padre, but was a trooper and at the end of it all, blew the dentist a beso and also bumped knuckles with him!!
Onto the fotos.
Everyday, Max finds a rock and puts it into my bolsa, pocket. Today, he attempted to put more then one in my pocket. Oh Max!!
Max met these amigos and we spent 20 minutes hanging with them.
The boy on the left was born in the US, but speaks no ingles. He was super friendly, letting Max play with all of his toy cars, while I chatted up the padre, who was setting up a tienda. The padre spoke perfect ingles, 13 years in San Jose California will do that for you.
Someone bought some lil'man underwear and loves to see him running around in it. Oh madre!!
Home delivery mecanicos and the one in the middle is paid to hold a car part over the other mecanico's head, to keep the sol from beating down on him.
You see this, and you know the carpinteros are near.
You see this and you know the hombres that sell "discount" tabicon, brick, is near.
These are a few fotos from ayer, of Max y madre returning from there Play Palace date.
Hair blowing in the wind, it was time for "vamos rapido"...going fast.
Ok, that's all. have a great domingo...race domingo that is!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
