Buenos noches!!

A tranquilo día here in Huatulco. The usual rutina, starting at 530am...doph. But we are used to it and then feel rewarded when we sleep in until 630am!!

The big difference in today's rutina? Discipline. Doph.

Mostly, we have been working with Max on setting boundaries and of course, keeping him safe (minus all the falls of course...oh Bubba).

But today there were consequences to his actions. Max seems to like to take the odd drink of pool water, often gargling with it...oh Max. We don't want him to get sick, so every time we catch him doing it, we make sure we talk to him about it.

Round 1, was a warning that we would leave the pool. Round 2, and only minutes after round 1, we pulled him out of the pool and had a time out. And minutes later and with a grin on his face, we saw his head tilt back and saw and heard some gargling.

Argh...I was enjoying el sol and the pool, but we had to follow through with our warning. Max was NOT happy, but he did take time to wave adios to the peeps that were still in the alberca. Oh Max!!

I am 99.9% sure we will be dealing with more pool water gargling amongst other behaviours!!

So after the pool, up for leche and a nap.

The usual afternoon rutina, me off to el gimnasio and then onto Che, while the familia did not go on a pre-comida prowl, instead they watched some Max videos on Bex's computer.

But after their lunch, they were off to the playa. Huge olas at the playa, so there wasn't much swimming, but tons of fun time in the sand.

Back home, Max managed to eat a dinner for 2 (ok, maybe 1.5) and then off to tina time, the FT con Oma y Opa and then off to bed.

Max was pooped and after madre's 30 minutos were up, it only took a few minutes with The Whisperer before he was lights out and plopped into his cuna!! Success!!

Onto the fotos.

It was a MUY tranquilo prowl...no fotos. Huh? But...we have this series to share.

Max has returned from his afternoon trip to the playa, and he knows that padre has leche waiting for him...but it is hidden in the Party Palace.

Here he is, with a grin of anticipation.

And what is he looking for? Something in the Palace, that is out of the norm.

Having spotted the egg carton, Max is so excited that he needs a moment to gather himself.

Look at that grin!!

Onto the prize.

Look momma...leche!!

Ever see a niño drink leche, BEFORE removing an egg carton?

But he figured it out...of course he did!!

And after all that hard work, time to kick back and enjoy the fruits of his search!!

Ok, you are all caught up. Viernes already? No plans for mañana...stay tuned.

Misc...after el gimnasio, I was driving to the Fonatur yard to drop off the recycling and as it was near 4pm, it was close to quitting time for all the trabajadores. Interesting to see over 50 workers making their way back to the yard, carrying their tools and/or pushing their wheelbarrows. And of course there were also the dump trucks full of workers in the back...doph.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
