And that foto, mis amigos, represents the kind of day we have all had. Read on.

Wacky, wacky and more wacky...welcome to Wacky Martes!!

Max was awake at 445am and did not go back to sleep. Maybe he really misses his chupy? They say the first few days of kicking an addiction are not the worst...it is day 3 or 4. Oh please...lol.

Poppa was up at 545am and quickly realized no amount of rocking would get the Energizer Conejito back to sleep...but there was NO way we were getting up at 6am.

We lay on the bed and I gave Max his books to read and after many verses of "go for walk", I explained to him that we could not go for a walk until el sol was up. So what does he do? Waving his hands at the window, he starts chanting "sun, sun, sun...", thinking that his chanting will help the sun rise.

Maybe it did help as at 7am off we went.

Quick prowl as we needed to get back for desayunos and then off to INM and beat the rush.

Good prowl, huge desayunos and then off to INM. First in line and after Max wowed a few senoritas, I managed to ask my questions and off we went for a Santa Cruz prowl.

Then it was off to drop off the recycling and then onto Che. Max was super well behaved for 3 aisles and then all heck broke loose. He needs to touch everything and many items are finding their way into the cart. Doph.

Finally I have to put him into the seat of the cart and we finish up and go pay. And being in a "no" mood, he was not being the most pleasant to the several niños that came up to say hola. I let them know Max is practicing saying no and they laughed.

Home at 1030am and time for an early nap due to the waaaay early wake up.

And less then an hour into the siesta, Max wakes up screaming and crying and wanting his momma. Bad dream? Who knows? I am chalking it up to Wacky Martes...or is there a full luna I do not know about?

And after Bex comes in to calm our hijo, and I have stepped out...Max calls out for his Poppa. Wacky niño Martes?

Back to sleep and then there was one more wake up (a crappy siesta) and after some man snugs, we fell asleep again. Phew.

Time for lunch when we woke up and I was planning to head to the gym and the familia to the mall. But plans changed when a HUGE storm roared in. Super high winds (dangerous to walk in) and a torrential down pour, our first day-time lluvia in August. Wacky weather Martes?

So after lunch, we all loaded up in the camioneta verde, and I was dropped off at the gym and the familia headed to the Play Palace.

The rain stopped an hour or so later and I managed to walk home and then familia followed shortly after...looking for leche!!

Huge smile when Max found the milk in the Crown Royal box!!

Time to cook dinner and Bex y Max went for a pre-cena prowl...and he came back crying. Wacky walk Martes?

Poppa chatted him up. and using the art of distraction, we were ready for a good dinner. Good eats that is, but Max was looking and acting pooped, so we changed up the rutina and Max had a long tina time with his momma watching over him, while Bubba cleaned up.

Some nice book reading before bed time and a little crying while I explained that since Max threw Pooh Bear on the floor, I wasn't going to get him. Max quickly understood that HE threw his amigo off the bed and that we don't do that to amigos. That lesson will stick in his mind for maybe 15 minutes? Ja ja ja

Bex came in for the leche time, and just before The Whisperer was headed in to take over, I get the call that Max is upset and calling for his Poppa. Wacky bed time Martes?

I come in and take over and the last words out of Max's mouth before he is plopped into his cuna? Momma, momma. Of course they were.

Some toss and turning in the cuna and once comfortable with his 2 amigos, Pudge y Coca, Poppa gets a wink and the lil'man was lights out. Phew.

Wacky, wacky, wacky.

Currently 840pm and I am enjoying some chill room while Max sleeps and Bex is trying out some new software that she bought online and that actually made it here to Huatulco via the mail. Score!!

Onto the fotos.

No AM prowl fotos, but here is Max helping take the recyclables to the camioneta verde.

And once at the truck, he tries to get in.

And walks away scratching his head.

But we see a rare smile on his face as we are at Santa Cruz and prowling time has come.

Curious about a boat's motor that had started up.

And still curious, but from a different angle.

What has the little man spotted?

And then picked up?

Hola hola to a hermit crab.

And after being told to be nice to the crab and that there was no need to throw it around, Max decides to get into the empty pond and show me how happy he was about that chat we had just had.

And this sums it up...no feliz. And a new word en español? Enojado (en-o-hado), angry.

We are hoping that a good sleep brings us back our lil'angel, but when you have such a spirited niño, we need to expect days like this. But please....not too many!!! Ja ja ja

Ok, have a great miercoles!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
