Welcome to foto Saturday!!
And here they are….
A view down Alberni Street.
Some of these fotos are to help show the amigos in Huatulco what Vancouver is like.
We were at this spot because we were waiting to sell the wine glasses…and did!! More diaper $$. Meanwhile the Occupy Vancouver march was about to start and all we saw were a tons of police doing what they do.
Pumpkins.
I have not seen these in Huatulco. They are getting ready for Dia de los Muertos. Next year (proximo año) we are going to go to Santa Maria Huatulco (in the hills) and experience October 31st in the big cemetery there!!
A view down Davie Street towards English Bay.
It was a windy day…poco frio due to viento. We were here because I dropped Bexico off for a haircut while I went to el gimnasio.
After gym, I came back to English Bay to meet Bexico and go for a walk….that ended up at a Fish & Chips restaurant for lunch!!
But first…the Bexico hide and seek series.
And what is up with this FAT pigeon?
I guess Bexico watched it “beg” for food (like a dog I was told) from these 2 hombres.
And welcome to Vancouver.
A street person who had been “requesting” some spare change from the lady next to him, was given no change but decided he would talk her ear off. Ja ja ja
Some shots of English Bay…beautiful view and weather.
One of Vancouver’s unique condos.
They must have a great view up there…and a tree to boot!!
Tonta Bexico…silly Bexico.
And Bexico’s favorite stop in Vancouver…and in West Vancouver too?
Yup…they are goooood…but not for you.
Some Fall colors.
And never say no to taking a foto of a nice perro.
More sun is forecast over the next week…more fotos are promised!!
Ok…where are we now? 7pm and just starting to cook (cocinar) la cena. Cerdo y arroz tonite. Why the late dinner? Full from a large helping of those good fish & chips.
And the race? 214 of 334 laps completed…a good race.
The rest of our day? Bexico has had a ton of work emails and possibly another job…just need to close the deal on several of those “possibilities”. And at 7pm, she is back hard at work.
And the haircut? She looks great!! Now it seems I need to get in there for another clipping. I almost have an afro….lol.
Me? We managed to clean up the drafting table and sold it!! Phew…only the side table and TV bench left…but we have 2 months left to try and sell them.
Had a so-so 6th day in el gimnasio. Still fighting through the cold…not complaining!! Great to get out in the sun though!! I have missed that and missed bringing the camera out.
Interesting email from Senor Ricardo. He is on the way to Huatulco on his moto…muy exciting!! But I guess there has been a leak in G10 and it has made its way to the unit below. No sé. We have no idea what it could be….hopefully nothing big.
Glad we sold the glasses y drafting table. Por que? Well we spent another $200 at Stupid Store…and we really do not feel like we are buy more then we need, or too many “treats”…well other then the cookie dough helado…ice cream!! Ja ja ja
But included in the $$ is a warm suit for niño. It has been cooler out (12-15 grados) and want to make sure the lil’Bubba is warm when we are out and about. I guess we use it for a month and then donate it when Bexico gets to the airport? Ja ja ja.
Ok…that was the day.
8pm, dinner was great and the race is almost over.
Mañana? Hello NFL and I am sure a walk in the sun is in the cards too.
Proxima semana? Next week? Lots going on between ultrasounds, midwives and mis amigos!!
Have a great Sunday.
Marco y Bexico
