Hola y welcome to the
sábado update!!
Another great day and
another day that started with Max being awake for an hour, today it was from
3am until 4am. Doph.
But padre was there and
after some leche and some time on my chest, we both fell asleep. Phew. Next
thing I knew it was 645am and the AM rutina started.
It took a lil’longer then
normal to get going as padre was sleepy, but we had a great morning and another
fun walk.
After the walk it was the
usual leche time con madre and then siesta time con padre, but our nap was a
shorty…only 90 minutes.
Max needs at least 2 hours
and we lucked out that he was a trooper through the day, but was evidently
pooped. He hates sleeping and all we can do is to try and keep him on a regular
schedule and try to entice him into sleeping longer at night and during his
siesta.
After the nap, it was our
regular rutina, I headed to el gimnasio and the familia off to the playa.
When we met up back at the
casa, the boys went for a walk so madre could do some more work in the oficina
and get us started para la cena y the PM rutina.
Max was pooped, so it was
more of a “carry” vs a walk, but we still had fun and he brought even more
smiles to the peeps here in Huatulco!!
Home for burgers…forgot to
thaw the chuletas de cerdo…doph…and then the PM rutina and you are all caught up.
Currently 835pm and Max is
asleep, having already stirred once, I am about to add verbage to some blog fotos,
and Bex is hard at work in the oficina.
Bex has been working long
and hard on her contracts, but our goal is to steady the work load vs the usual
dry spell followed by the torrential work load.
Fotos.
The old "scoping the senoritas out in the mirror" trick.
Max has spent some time looking at his own expressions. We have caught him looking into a mirror and watching himself laugh...hilarious!!
In the blanket? No, it wasn't their perro...it was a 4 month old niña.
Oh oh. Max is sporting the "evidence" on his right cheek. Yup, he was given a beso (or 3) on our AM walk!!
From my walk to el gimnasio.
If you see one of these hombres...
You know the camioneta full of zapatos, shoes, cannot be far behind.
As I was headed one way, I saw this volcho, VW Bug, owned by the hermano of Carlos (of Nissan).
So I headed the other way, took the fotos and saw Carlos ready to eat his comida at a taqueria.
The chopped up VW was in Istmos but his hermano wants to sell it so they are trying their luck here in Huatulco. All yours (sin roof) for $30,000 pesos.
I sat down and chatted up Carlos. He was headed to Istmos to see his novia for the first time since she became his esposa, all due to expecting a niño together. He was excited as he was also going to tell his padres. I congratulated him and I headed off to el gimnasio.
On our pre-cena walk, Max has stopped to smell the flores.
And not all flowers smell good!!
Find a silla, try and move a silla. And does Max look pooped or what?
Max, show padre the perro. Success!!
Mañana? The big race, but
maybe I join the familia at playa Chahue first? Stay tuned.
Have a great domingo.
Marco, Bexico y Max
