Hola mis amigos!!
Wacky sleep for the
lil’man y Bex and I attribute that to sore teeth.
The boys had the AM rutina
and all went well, including desayunos, a great walk and a super siesta.
After the siesta it was
off to Mojon. A super afternoon of walking the playa and swimming in the
oceano.
Max did have a short lapse
of happiness, for no rhyme or reason, but it was quickly rectified using the
art of distraction.
We have seen huge leaps in
Max’s ability to understand what we say and I am sure it can be frustrating for
a lil’person when they cannot tell you what is on their mind. So we practice
patience and try to ask questions and see where that leads.
It has also helped us to
let Max know when we do understand what he wants, as that keeps him calm while
we get him ready for whatever activity he wants to do.
The afternoon was winding
down and madre hit the olas on the boogie board and the boys went for a long
prowl around Mojon. We ended up at Roman’s casa where he was working with a few
locals, building a nice palapa.
And as we were headed back
to our palalpa, along came madre in our camioneta!! All packed up and ready to
go. Grassy ass madre!!
We boogied home and had
some alberca time antes la cena and then we ate, washed up, had our regular FT
con Oma y Opa and then it was bed time.
How long did it take for
Max to fall asleep tonight? He drank his leche con madre and only seconds after
that…lights out!! Yahoo!!
Hey…just watching the
Global News and please, please stop eating shark fin soup!! 30 million sharks
are killed each year for their fins…and the fins don’t even have any flavour?
Huh? Then why eat it?
Back to our day.
So at 830pm…lights out for
the lil’man, Bex is hard at work with 2 projects and it is miercoles…so that means
Duck Dynasty at 9pm!!
Bex update…she had a lead
on a 3rd project, a video for a repeat client. But…he took his
sweet a** time getting all the deets from his client and it looks like the
client wants the film in 2 weeks and the earliest Bex could finish it would be
the end of abril. Doph.
Hey, she waited and tried
to get this guy to hurry up, but when he did not, she took on other projects. Her
client is going to try and get his client to extend her deadline, but we are
not hopeful. Stay tuned.
Light on fotos.
One of my favorite outfits that Max wears.
Muy curioso niño!! Check out that stare!!
Look at this insecto.
Why the foto? While on our walks, I do not wear my glasses, only mi lentes de sol. So Max stops to pick up a "leaf" and upon a closer inspection, it was NOT a leaf!! Oh padre!!
Our jueves? Nothing new
planned…good to get back to el gimnasio.
Misc...clocks in Canada spring forward this domingo but not here in Huatulco, until el 7 de abril. So for a month, we will be 1 hour ahead of Vancouver, but will be 2 hours behind KW. Make note!!
We end this update with a
heart felt adios to a great Canadian, Stompin' Tom Connors, who passed away
today.
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
