Ahhhhh....home sweet home!!
We have made it!! And all of us are pooped!! Max was lights out in his madre's arms...at 725pm!! Bex is headed to the oficina to send some work emails, Bubba is going to jot down a few notes, watch the News and then hit the sack.
A long día, but at least we slept in until 545am today!! Hard to believe that 2 days in a row we have had to wake Max up vs being woke up by Max!! Today he said to Bex, "Poppa awake, Max sleep". Funny niño.
Interjet was tranquilo this morning, so we were in and out like a breeze. That gave us time to kill before boarding the flight and once on board, it is only one hour from DF to Huatulco.
Max was a good boy and due to Interjet having cameras mounted on the nose of it's planes, we were able to keep Max in his seat belt as the plane made it's way around Huatulco and then landed on the runway.
Tony was on time and after grabbing our luggage, off we went. I took a look at the camioneta and Pablo did a great job. The color is a great match and the work he did in the bed of the truck looks fine. All that for $2000 pesos.
We dropped Tony off and as soon as we got home it was nap time for Bex y Max. I did a little unpacking and then took my own power snooze.
Post snooze I was off to pay Pablo, grab the mat for the truck (stored at Tony's taller) and then grab some grub at Sorianas.
Bex y Max had a swim and then during a quick FT con Oma y Opa, we opened the box with the bici in it, and put it together. Max even whispered Thank You to Oma y Opa!!
This is what the bici looks like.
And you might recall the journey the bici took to get to Huatuclo? From the East coast of the USA to Portland OR, to Port Moody and then onto several flights and finally here to Huatulco.
Max strapped on his casco and with his madre at his side, did his best at learning how to ride this bike. He will need more practice and he is stubborn, so this might take some time.
I puttered around and re-stocked the casa...hello to Heinz 57 sauce!!
Easy dinner, off to tina time and now lights out.
Mañana? Not sure yet. If I feel up to it, time to hit the gym.
How do I feel? I had a very sore belly this morning, but since we came home, I have felt good except for being tired. I am hoping a good night's sleep will help. As for a doctor's visit? Our Doc Carillo is on vacation, but Bex rustled up the name and number of the doctor who works at the local resorts, so I will be seeing him. Stay tuned.
Buen fin de semana...have a great weekend.
Marco, Bexico y Max
