A cheeky grin from the lil'man.

Buenos noches...a tranquilo día here in Huatulco, and wanting to always "spice" up the blog update, I found THIS story that caught my eye while browsing the web.

As for our día, no where as interesting as the story I found on the web, but still a great day. Straight to the best part of my day? Max was half way through his siesta when he woke up and was tnt (toss n'turning) as he tried to fall back asleep.

He looked at me with begging ojos and said "bebe" and then climbed on top of me and promptly fell asleep. Twenty minutos later, he rolled off and we slept for another 20!! Score!!

Wake up time? 630am after a few night time wake ups con su madre. We are not sure which of the 1000 sleep phases the lil'man is going through, but we look forward to seeing some more sleeping through the noche. Por favor!!

Poppa took over at 7am and then we had some tranquilo time followed by a huge desayunos!! Off for a short prowl and then onto familia swim. Score!! Max loved the alberca and he is doing amazing with his gafas and swimming under water!!

Upstairs for leche and attempt number one at the siesta. It does not happen often, but The Niño Whisperer was called into action to get the lil'guy to finally close his ojos and fall asleep. The trick? Start with a wet Willy!!

A good 2 hour siesta and then Poppa was off to el gimnasio and after their comida, the familia played in Max's Palacio before heading out on the town. I think they his a skateboard parque (?) before heading to Roasario's Palacio.

Home in time for leche and some oh so yummy rib eyes (hola hola to the cajun spice brought back from BC).

Dance party with the new lion move added, tina time, FT con Oma y Opa and round one of bedtime is under way. Buen suerte!!

Onto the fotos.

Señor Max and his hoja grande.

Señor Muy Curio checking out what our neighbors are up to.

Rampa pit stop.

Max's use of words is getting better and better, and he is stringing more and more of them together.

Here, Max has stopped to look at the tienda, Santa Cruz Abarrotes, as he knows we had to go there to buy some huevos for his madre. After he stopped and looked, he pointed and said Santa Cruz Abarrotes...what a smart niño!!

Max loves the caballo, and today as it had been sitting in the sun and was hot, Max wanted me to get it some agua!! Kind hearted soul our lil'man.

Part of life in Huatulco. After a day in escuela, note the uniform, this niña helps her madre push their triciclo around town.

Electricity is expensive and not many peeps have washers y dryers. Not sure how they get everything outside to hang on the bars.

Just a foto.

Oh yes, exciting times here in edificio B. Post siesta, we heard a large crash and looked outside to see a roof tile had been knocked off. The viento had caused the large arbol to bend, knocking off one tile.

I spotted Marciano and showed him the issue and after stringing up some tape to make sure no one walked under the area...they boys went for lunch!! Post comida, they came back to do some tree cutting and clean up the 2 or 3 other tiles that came down.

Machete y Coca Cola...of course.

Time to talk to el Presidente to make sure an inspection of all the roofs has occurred, as someone could have been muerto if they had been walking under the awning when the tile came down. Doph!!

Ok, you are all caught up. Mañana? Super Che martes and we will see about fitting in an otro familia swim.

Mojon later this week...camarones?

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
