Peek a boo with Max and his new Crocs.
Wow…what a great day!!
Currently 845pm, Max is
asleep and we are watching a news clip about whether or not to let niños cry
themselves to sleep….doph!! ja ja ja
So, 630am came early
again…we are working on figuring out why Max likes 630am.
But at least he was ok
with lounging on the otra recamara for 30 minutes while we both shook some
cobwebs out of our cabezas.
Normal rutina, including a
walk and then back for siesta.
Once that was over, madre
took over and padre grabbed some more zzzz’s.
Awoken to the pitter
patter of little pies on the bed, and I was up and getting ready for familia
time at playa Santa Cruz.
Perfect day as it was
overcast with some sunny breaks…not too hot for the lil’guy.
But once we got to the
beach…windstorm!! The olas were similar to Chahue waves, but since it was high
tide, most of the arena (sand) was wet and not blowing around!!
So we decided to stay.
Almost deserted...mucho viento...lots of wind!!
And as you can tell by the
fotos…we all had fun.
Well, almost all of us had fun.
A little choppy for Max y padre...who needs a haircut because he looks like Krusty the Clown!!
A good workout throwing 10 plus kilos into the air.
A quick change for the lil'hombre and time to test the legs.
Click on any foto to see it full screen.
Uh padre...I need some Crocs if I am going to walk on this cement.
Oh Oh Max...there are the Inmigracion senoritas...who like to bite you!! Holy mordida Batman!!
Oh Max, they really just love you!!
Ahhh, a niño after my own heart!! Like padre like hijo.
The senorita was super nice...it took 20 fotos to get him to look at us, as all he wanted to do was play with her hair as she hid behind the moto holding Max in place.
Time to email those fotos to the senoritas!!
After the playa…time to
head home for Max’s siesta #2…which became the last siesta of the día. Por que?
Porque they went for the
siesta around 130pm and did not get up until 330pm!! A new chest nap record!!
Meanwhile, I had gone to
el gimnasio y Che and came home to see the familia eating their comida at 4pm!!
Too late for a 3rd
siesta, so time for a familia walk and then alberca time.
And that is when we
grabbed the new Crocs for the lil’walker. Earlier in the day, madre y Max had
gone out and looked at some shoes…and met the wackiest store owner in town.
Bex points to a style and
the lady brings something else out and then is confused why Bex does not want
them. Then asks for some different sizes and this seems to be a hassle for the
senora. Suffice it to say, they did not buy the shoes there!!
The new Crocs are needed
for all the walking the lil’guy is now doing…time to keep the feet clean and
safe!!
On the way home, grabbed
some roti…$75 pesos for an entero, arroz, salsa verde, napales, pepper,
potatoes y 2 litros of mas azucar bebida.
We grabbed 2 as the
lil’machine devours pollo, and at the gate, we gave away the arroz, salsa verde
y bebidas to Silverio who was very appreciative and quite excited with the
prospect of taking these home to his familia.
Madre y Max hit the pool
and padre prepped the pollo and then joined them.
Max loves the agua and
even with a chilly breeze that was sure to cause shrinkage…he enjoyed himself.
Early rutina due to no 3rd
siesta, and he was asleep by 8pm. Now, how long will he stay asleep? The
$64,000 question!!
Martes? I might see my
student…she is not the most motivated…I will see how long this relationship
continues. Throw in el gimnasio and hopefully some more familia playa time…and
that is a full día!!
945pm UPDATE
The wind has been brisk
all day, but it seems to have really picked up and we have some rain. And? And
we lost the satellite signal…no MNF…doph!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
