Hola!! Welcome to the
first NFL domingo of the season!! As you can see, Max is pretty pumped about it!!
Wow was it dark at 630am…oh
Max!!
But up we go and had a
pretty uneventful morning rutina. It was nice to sit with mi hijo and watch the
tape of last night’s race!! I on purpose did not look for the winner on line,
and glad I didn’t as it was a great race to watch.
And Max? I think Nascar
makes him hungry as he ate the biggest breakfast I have seen in the past
month!! He really enjoyed the fruit cubes, pasas, cereal y yogurt. Wolfed that
down and over a plate of fresh fruta as well.
Good nap and then off for
a walk. Lots of peeps working at Gabriels, all due to today being the first
cruise ship of the season. I saw a guy I know, who works for the tourist agency
and he told me the ship was from San Francisco.
At Gabriels, we unslung
and Max went for a cruise and a speed crawl. He worked his way next door and
said hola to the gang working there. They have a niño who is probably 18 months
old, and max is the same size!! When I reminded the guys that Max was only 10
meses, they all laughed at how big he is and how small their niño is in
comparison.
Off to the zocalo where
the reading group was set up in the bandstand and where we sat down to watch a
mariachi group play their musica.
I gotta say, I like the

After the zocalo, up a
side street where the tourists happened to be, and some locals thought we were
with the old white peeps. Huh? We told them we lived here and that always
starts a conversation.
Off to the campo where
there was a futbol game playing. We unslung again and Max cruised the bleachers
for a while…then told me it was boobie time!!
Trucked home and stopped
at SCA to grab some huevos. Madre was up, helped wash the lil’crusiers manos y
pies and tanked him up.
The thing about being up
at 630am…nap #2 comes early!! So the two of them hit the sack and padre…hello
NFL!!
As for the rest of the
día…tranquilo!! I watched some ball, took a nap and assisted (lol) max with his
3rd nap.
Madre y Max had a fun
time, some speed crawling in the grass and a walk around centro as well. We are
on the hunt for some walking shoes for the lil’guy…stay tuned.
Lots of viento later today
and that cooled things down and made the pool time that much more enjoyable.
It is a funny time of year
as we see the sun setting in different positions and times, the temps are
changing and there is a feel of autumn in the air!! Lol
Great steaks para la cena
and Max made us laugh with all his babbling, smiling and just being Max!!
945pm and madre is back at
work, Max has rustled only once…and the Steelers and Broncos are on the tube!!
Mañana? El gimnasio,
possibly Che to figure out la cena and maybe we can rustle the whole familia
off to playa Santa Cruz!!
Mojon? Sergio is back
miercoles, so the long postponed meet should happen jueves o viernes. Stay
tuned.
