Just back from the Island. Had a great visit with M&D. Lunch at Pags that included two baskets of that crazy yummy bread as well as a slice of chocolate cake that set my work out regime back 3 days!! Then home to catch up with the folks, watched the deer hang outside the condo and then I tried to take photos of hummingbirds with the new camera.
Dinner was Mom's top notch lasagna...delicious as usual. Did I mention the home made apple pie. Ok, I am now 4 or 5 days set back on the work out regime...worth it!!
Nice seeing M&D and will miss them in person, but happy for iChats once in Mexico.
Tuesday was the Huatulco lease signing which went a-ok. Met with Heidi (the other half of Rick) and signed the papers and had lunch. She is nice and full of energy. They will be in Huatulco 4 months of the year and I am sure we will touch base with them often.
Picked up Bex late Tuesday and it was great to see her after a week away. Late night drive home and a long day, but all good. Got the shower curtain and Bex picked up some sheets for the beds as well as another friend....Eeyore. He may need to sit on the roof...the truck is getting full!!
Tomorrow is our 2nd to last Joe's breakfast!! Might drop off the last of the cds to see if they are worth any pesos. And we need to pick up some pesos as well. The Cdn dollar has strengthened against the peso...something like 11.82/dollar vs 11.40/dollar a few weeks ago. It all helps!! The markets have been good to us too...knock on wood. Not enough to build the villas yet, but living expenses in Huatulco are more then taken care of.
Bella pizza with Olen tomorrow and suds and burger with Stu on Saturday. Looks like the golf on Tuesday is down to 3 of us...oh well. Pt Roberts for suds, pull tabs and cheap golf.
