This is a mid day update. We are at Flagstaff Nissan having brought the truck in to get the thermostat looked at.
We had a great start to the day, up at 745am, Nissan confirming they have a thermostat (if needed), and all packed and on the road by 9am. Nissan was busy until 10am anyway, so a pit stop at Safeway for gas and Bex's Bux.
Didn't know this, but Flagstaff is at 7400 feet above sea level. And for Dad, Flagstaff has a population of 61,000 and is 232 km from Phoenix. It is another 291 km to Nogales so once we are done here, we have 525 km to drive. But...we are booked in as a 6'er at Nogales...all for $40 this time!!
11am and the truck is finally being looked at by a mechanic...fingers crossed it is just the thermostat and all will be good for $215 plus taxes.
Just finished an iChat with M&D and Bex has gone on the hunt for food at the mall up the street. Must feed the machine and keep up with the regularly scheduled feedings!!
Ok, will update you all from Nogales before the big day...crossing into Mexico tomorrow!!
