A quick hello to Rosie Jo, one of our blog followers!!
First Sunday of the NFL season so it was off to Malones to have breakfast and some bevies with Snetsy. Always good catching up with another of the ex-MS crew.
Came home and found Bex busy packing her closet...a good sign that I too should get going on that task. I did end up tackling that after dinner...travel clothes, items staying behind (can you say Bubba's wooly sox?) and items that will be packed into the truck and not unpacked until we are in Huatulco. We still have to see if everything is going to fit!! Espresso machine, beach chairs....yikes!!
As for dinner...it was my favorite Rebecca meal...chicken reggianno with red pepper aioli!! Yummy.
Bex is out meeting up with someone she knew from 20 years ago and I am watching the Redskins beat the Cowboys!! Sunday night football!!! Will have to look into that sports bar (or open our own) once we are settled.
Magic of the Magic Jack....we bought and installed it. Tried it out here in Van and it worked and we will give it a go while in the States and ultimately see if it works in Mexico. Internet based phone line with a 604 number so it is like a local call for anyone to/from other 604 numbers. Great if it works in Mexico as calls from there to Canada are expensive on the Roger's phone and not sure about us getting a local number unless we get it bundled with the all important internet.
Two full days left in town. Gym, cleaning and packing tomorrow. A glass of suds with another ex-MS buddy (how many ex-MS peeps are there?) at 4pm and then home for Monday night football!!
Happy one year to Kent and Stacey...was it a year ago we were all in Hawaii?
Tuesday is triple B...bucket of golf balls, burger and a beer (all for $20) with my brother and then a quick visit with my sister Karen. We should be getting the condo damage deposit back on Tuesday as well.
Today's word? La cenna (dinner)...which tonight was pollo (chicken).
Hoping to have an iChat Monday or Tuesday with someone I consider a true friend...that and he loves the Crown as much as I do.
