Hmmm...I wonder what it would be like to sleep in past 530am?

Let's get right to some exciting video!!

Click HERE to watch a short video of a dust storm we had here in Huatulco.

Ok, how was the day? Last night, Max was lights out in minutes and slept right through until 530am, when I was greeted with "arriba, hug y kiss".

Our cleaner Betty was here today, so it is nice to be out of the casa as she does the sala y Max's room, and that means familia swim!!

Working backwards...swim from 10am-1030am, tranquilo time 945am-10am, desayunos from 845am-945am and that means the prowl goes from 720am until 845am.

Great prowl...fresh piña at the school yard...and of course we loved the familia swim. We think Max might have made it to 20 seconds treading water solo!!

Great siesta and then I was off to el gimnasio and after their comida, the familia was off for playa time. Bex says for possibly the first time ever, Max did not want to go in the ocean for a swim. Huh? Maybe pooped out from all the swimming in the alberca.

We met back for leche y clean up (Max was a sand popsicle) and then onto Bubba burger miercoles. They were devoured quite fast, so we decided for a familia prowl and off we went. Hilarious to watch Max storm around town, knowing exactly where everything is, and pausing to grab our manos before we cross the calles.

Home for casa clean up, tina time and at 730pm, round 1 of bedtime is almost up. The Whisperer is on his way. Stay tuned!!

Not the quickest bedtime, but it was pretty easy. Some talking, tickling, lots of words and then finally "ears", and Max was lights out.

Currently 820pm and as Max sleeps, Bex is hard at work in the oficina and Bubba is catching up on the News. So...onto the fotos!!

The prowl started with a run. Max tiene mucha energía at 720am!!

And then eagle eyes spotted something amiss with his seating area next to his rampa.

Upon closer examination...

and even closer examination...

Max discovered there were a ton of hormigas in his usual sit spot. He also looked puzzled when I asked him if the hormigas were his amigas.

Close but but no cigar. We needed another garafon of agua and Max practiced saying "garafon agua por favor", so when we went to the gate he could ask for one. We get there, I ask Max what he wants to say to Marcelino, Poppa, and Max looks at me and whispers "agua". A+ effort though!!

So he promptly went to the guards agua to wash his manos (more like pump as much water out as possible).

Off to the escuela to prowl and eat the fresh cut piña. $20 pesos for a big vaso full!!

Max may or may not believe there is an elefante in these bushes. Not sure where he got that idea from!!

The "about to run" look is because some niñas had been chasing him, and he was not enjoying it 100%, and he was about to make a break for his Poppa.

Only 810am, pero mucho calor, but very hot!!

On you marks, get set...

GO!!!

As the dust settled, and Max started coughing due to the dust, we called a time out!!

All you need is a trunk, a press and some fresh naranja and ta-da. Fresh squeezed orange juice...on the go!!

Or you buy yourself one of these bikes and set yourself up in style.

These bikes are found everywhere and while this one has beverages in it, you can often find fruta, donas, and even hot cooked food.

Ayer, yesterday, there was a foto in the blog of a closed off calle, with a tent at the end of it. Today, I went down to check it out further and as I know an hombre with a tiny tienda in front of the tent, I asked him what was going on.

My hunch was correct and someone had passed away, leading to a 2 day celebration. Not many peeps here during the day, but I am sure it will be busier at night.

Today they had the boys playing some musica, and I can tell you this...the hombre working in the tienda had a headache. It was loud!!

You see this here often. Not only the Corona ads, but a door on a second level, that leads to nothing safe. Yikes.

Bex work update? She has had lots of smaller projects, but ones that take up a lot of hours...and she is paid hourly so cha-ching!!

HERE is one of her latest projects. I think she has created 7 banners for this website, and currently they are showing 2 of them. Neat to see her work in action. Felicidades!!

Ok, that's it.

Have a great jueves y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
