Buenos noches.

It is currently 730pm and Max is already asleep!! Huh?

Welcome to the day where we experiment with Max only having one siesta, and getting to bed temprano, early.

Por que the experiment? All of our days activities hinge on what time Max wakes up and today it was almost 730am. Mind you that was after a wacky night of sleep, but it was still 730am!!

The sleep had so much promise!! He was asleep by 845pm and did not stir once during the early evening. We are thinking this is a score!! But alas, all good things come to an end and he woke up no less then 6 times between 11pm and 730am. Oh Max!

So the boys had the AM shift and after he wolfed down his desayunos, we hit the road for almost an hour. A nice and long walk through town and I must say the sábado y domingo are my favorite days for walks because there are lots of peeps for Max to say hola to and make laugh.

Ask him “Max, te gusta pollo?” and he rubs his belly. Tell him there has been a touchdown and he raises his arms to signify the 6 points!

All this and we haven’t even hit the kiosko yet. There, we run into some peeps that we have met before, but I cannot recall when. Their 6 year old niña loves getting chased by Max, so there goes a few more calories.

Popped into Papaloapan for some more pollo and there Max loves to watch the butchers at work. And of course they all say hola to him and address him personally. Muy famoso our lil’guy is!!

Headed home and were greeted by a very clean casa as it is sábado and our cleaner was hard at work.

Madre leche’d him up and then I took over for nap duty. Lights out at 11am and dos ojo re-opened at 115pm. Yup, it was a nice and long siesta!!

And thus only one siesta today. If we nap him again at 4pm, he will not go to sleep for the day until 9pm or so...too late for everyone!!

After the siesta, madre took over and the familia ended up at the playa again. The two of them have such a fun time and today was no different. The stories I heard were of Max meeting more peeps, lots of walking and climbing and as well, going bonkers when he saw a Canadian flag, una bandera.

I think I have explained the maple leaf deal? I have two maple leaf tattoos and Max loves them and when he sees a Cdn flag in town, he ah ahs and pulls down my shirt to see the tat on my chest. Hilarious.

The familia was at the playa, I was at el gimnasio, having bumped into Tony on the way. He was chatting up Elder at the llanteria and he mentioned he was heading to Mojon mañana. Yo tambien so we might see him there.

Good workout and when I came home the familia was having tranquilo time vs siesta time.

Max was a trooper and handled la cena and the tina time without falling asleep!! Well, he did lay his sleepy head on his food covered highchair tray once or twice!!

And you are all caught up.

Fotos?

Eyeing each other up...or at least their matching playeras.

I think Max might be the more excited one regarding this hook up!!

We ran into Raul on our AM walk and he REALLY wanted a foto con Max.

The boys are having a discussion about Pedro Pollo.

And at the tienda de Yamaha, Max went wild on this cymbal while the senorita who works there cheered him on.

Max spotted the wood banco with el sol y la luna carved into it. He loves la luna!!

And then he kissed a frog!!

Max used to be scared of this goofy car, but today it was all about spending 20 minutes sitting in it and playing with it's steering wheel.

All done in the kiosko and time to head home.

New words? Max is working on banana..."na na" is where he is at. And he is also working on the word agua. Exciting times!!

Mañana…Mojon, maybe a meet con Roman and pollo parmesiano para la cena!!

Have a great domingo.

Marco, Bexico y Max
