Ah yes, the smile of a niño who slept in until 6am!!

Buenos noches!! Another hot day is drawing to a close. Ayer, we topped 33,0 grados, plus maybe 5,0 in humido, and last night it only dropped to 28,0.

We had soem 330am toss and turn (is that the ghosting hour?), and then were up for good at 6am. At least that has been consistent!! Videos from 615am to 715am...Poppa slept in...doph.

Tranquilo time, huge desayunos and then onto a prowl. It was a good prowl, sombra to sombra!!

Home for leche y siesta and then onto our usual afternoon rutinas. Me? El gimnasio and then on the way home I pit stopped into the main zapatería in town, and scored on a new pair of shoes for Max. Check back for fotos!!

And then it was another stop as I loaded up on our carne, molida res for burger miercoles y meatball domingo, and some more oh so yummy rib eyes, that went into the freezer for a future dinner.

Home to unpack and then I actually went and sat in the pool. Huh? I socialized (ja ja ja) and actually had a 15 minute conversation with a guy who has spoken to me a total of 10 minutes in the past 3 years combined.

Either he has warmed up to me, or maybe he was embarrassed that last night Bex had to go down to the CP bbq pit and ask 50 drunk Canadians to stop letting off huge firework bombs, so that Max could sleep. Go get'em Boss Lady!!

After all the pool excitement, it was back upstairs to clean up and get ready for la cena and the PM rutinas.

Meanwhile, the familia had eaten their comida and loaded up the camioneta verde and were off to playa Entrega. They had a fun afternoon and were home in time for some iPad time before la cena. Hola hola to Winnie the Pooh!!

A great dinner, chuleta de cerdo lunes, but Max had ants in his pants and was a handful to keep seated. But we finally managed to lasso him and we all ate dinner. Clean up and Play Doh time, followed by familia dance party, tina time, FT con Oma y Opa and then off to bed.

It was a full 65 minute bedtime, but it was on his own and in his cuna, which we deem as a success. One day....ja ja ja.

So, at 845pm, Max is asleep, dreaming about the mouse (as big as a gato) we saw in the zocalo, Bex hard at work in the oficina, and Bubba typing away furiously while keeping an ojo on the monitor and one on the PVR'd News.

Onto the fotos.

Pre-prowl posing while Poppa "tests" the camera.

Adios Poppa, I am going for my walk now.

In the morning, fresh fruta y verdura comes to you. We have piña, jitomate verde and in the camioneta rojo, papaya.

Outside the Mall...pit stop. The stick came with us from the CP grounds.

The stick is gone, and Max spent 10 minutes playing with this latch trying to figure out how to open it and thus the puerta.

And we spent another 5 minutes walking around the courtyard, hearing el gato miau, but not being able to see her. But finally we had success.

Adios el gato.

I asked Max to show me silly "Max", and this is what I get..."sleepy Max".

Followed by "serious Max"...

"smiling Max"...

And finally..."silly Max"!!

Misc...the best part of the day might have been during the end of the day. While Max and I were working on bedtime, he says to me "love you", to which I reply "I love you too Max". Then he says "hug" and he gets a hug. Then comes "big kiss" and of course he gets the big kiss. And the last thing Max says, as he falls asleep..."I love you Poppa". Ahhhh..vida es muy buena!!

And to add to Max's growing vocabulary...the frases "excuse me" and now "wait a minute"...which he picked up from me during bedtime, as I wait to sing to him, but first say "wait a minute, your eyes are not closed".

You are all caught up. Mañana? Che martes and the rest of our usual rutinas.

Have a great día y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
