Hola!!

So this morning, we drove by a line up at Telmex and wondered what was up. Found out they were in line for the new iPhone 2. Who knew?

On a serious note, no Telmex phone or internet almost the complete day. Mi amigo Randy said he “heard” there was a solar flare?

825pm and I am NEVER again talking about how Max is sleeping…until the next day!! I have jinxed it too many times.

Last night, I am thinking all is well and then Max went into toss n’turn cycle and was up every hour. I hit the sack and he woke up an hour later and could not sleep…would NOT sleep.

So Bex took him into the otra recamara and the two of them had crappy sleep while I grabbed my shut eye until 730am. What a trooper!! Thanks madre!!

Max and I had a good morning rutina!!

A view of the cocina...from Max's PP.

Muy curioso!!

On our walk, we saw this senora lugging around home made tostadas, that she was attempting to sell.

A tough job in the heat. I suspect she is 50 years old plus.

Click HERE if you are interested in reading more about tostadas.

And a few fotos from Max's prowl (?) around the kiosko.

After the walk, it was home for the nap and the day went side ways after that.

All because I was pooped!! The nap with Max helped, but I then fell asleep for another 90 minutes plus and awoke very groggy.

And when Max went for his nap con madre, I puttered and the next thing I know, the afternoon is slipping away and if I want to go to the playa con mi familia, I must forgo el gimnasio. Easy decision!!

Madre convinced us to go to Pucks for French fries antes Santa Cruz, so off we went. But the fried goods Gods were not looking down on us as Pucks had no gas to cook the fries!!

So we had some bebidas (beverages) and chatted up Karen y Randy as the not so lil’guy prowled around.

Looks like we will hold Max’s party at Pucks…just need to work out the deets. Stay tuned for your invitation!!

Off to Santa Cruz, and with the new cloud cover…it was actually chilly when getting out of del mar!! We are now climatized Mexican-Canadians? Ja ja ja
Max raced around the playa and into the oceano…and of course had a walk with his parents.

Max also picked up 3 new novia/amigas. They saw him in the ocean and came over to say hola and then when he moved onto shore, they came over again. I would say they were between 8 and 11 years old and we trusted them enough to hold Max’s manos and take him for a short walk…with 2 parents toting behind!!

And then when he was changed and up on dry ground, they came over again!! We saw they were there with some adultos and we think that not only is Max super cute, but how often do Mexicanos see niños that big for 10 meses, with rubio colored hair and blue’ish ojos?

And on top of that…very friendly “white” parents that encourage them to come over and say hola? Max is exhibiting very very little of that “stranger anxiety” and that makes us happy.

Headed home, the pm rutina happened and we might have stretched the awake time a little too much. Doph. Max was fine until bath time and then he hit the wall and became a little PG…pudgy grumps!!

Padre put on his own rutina…I think madre laughed more then Max did, and Max was good to go tank up!!

And that was our día.

Mañana? Sleep in? Race at 1pm…and blueberry pancakes (called hotcakes here) para desayunos!! Yup…Bex found some blueberries at Fruver…Max loves them…makes his poo funky!! Ja ja ja

Have a great domingo!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
