730pm and we are back from Sr Pucks to watch the segundo half of the Superbowl at home. Nice to get out, but no need to hang out, especially with the game on at home in español.

Currently 21-17 for Green Bay…I am sticking with the Steelers. (if I could see into the future, I wouldn't...the future is not currently rosy with 10 minutes left).

Despues the pool? Tareas!! Hoy, our homework is not a lot, but we have even more verbos to learn and study.
Recall that with regular verbos like hablar (to speak), all you do is drop the “ar” and then add either the o, as, a, amos or an.
Irregular verbos change their stem. Pensar (to think or to plan) does this by changing the “e” to “ie”. Pensar changes to pienso, piensas, piensa, pensamos and piensan.
There are also irregular verbos that change “e” to “i” and “o” to “ue”.
Is there a secreto to the how’s and why’s? NOPE.
And hoy we read that there are irregular verbos that ONLY change the first person singular form, keeping all the other conjugations as a regular verbo would look like. The list of 12 that we have been given, follow no rhyme or reason. Trarer (to bring) becomes traigo and then sticks to the regular forms of traes, trae, traemos and traen.

But poner (to put, to place) becomes pongo, pones, pone, ponemos and ponen.
Ja ja ja…but not really.
My struggle is not only remembering what the verbo means (hacer always screws me up), but then how to conjugate it. Not hating…just stating.
