Hola hola mis amigos!!

Currently 1210pm and with Max fast asleep next to me, I am scratching my head trying to figure this sleep stuff out. Let's see...we had one of the best bed times in a long time, with Max falling asleep on his own, in his cuna at 815pm.

Earlier sleep but he then wakes up 3 times during the noche. Quick wake ups but still not sleeping through the noche.

It was a warmer night and the air con was set to go off at 3am and by 524am, it was warm in his recamara and he was awake. Oh no...we are not having this!! Air con goes back on and at 530am, Max is fast asleep in his Poppa's arms.

I was awoken by these words "long sleep Poppa" and was happy to see it was 630am. Score!!

Leche y videos and a quick snooze for Poppa, and then at 710am, onto our morning rutinas.

Before I jot down the notes from the rest of the day, the point about me trying to figure out the sleep stuff is that Max normally has his siesta around 1115am and is awake at 1245pm or 1pm. But due to the longer sleep in, he could not fall asleep until almost noon. That means if he sleeps the usual 90 minutos, we won't be on the road to playa Mojon until almost 2pm.

You win with the earlier sleep and the 630am wake up, you lose with the 3 wake ups during the  noche, the 12 noon siesta and possibly the shorter afternoon at the playa. Can we not have it all? Ja ja ja

Ok, as for the rest of the morning...tranquilo time in the palacio, huge desayunos, a super fun bici tour and then I watched Max spend 20 minutos or so in the CP alberca. Lots of swimming, floating and diving.

Upstairs for the leche y libros and that was the morning. So...onto the many fotos. Enjoy.

Pre-tour poses with some wacky Maxo Waxo facial expressions!!

All I asked was that he sit up straight and smile. Look what he gives me...oh muy tonto Max!!

Max is so Max. He sees the sorpresa I promised him and is so happy and eager to get off his bici and go for a "stand on it", but I get only one foto with a smile. Oh Max.

Max wants to stand on/in the tractor (as he calls it), Max gets to stand on/in the tractor.

A few days ago, I had spotted the front end loader while on my way home from el gimnasio, and I figured it would make the lil'man happy...success!!

The crew are getting locked and loaded. Today they will be walking around Huatulco trying to sell pillows and blankets.

While this hombre had steering wheel covers and floor mats galore.

It didn't work...but I thought if he would chase some more palomas, he would burn off some energy and fall asleep quick at siesta time.

 Not quite a Speedo....but Geronimo!!

Chez lounging Max.

He looks very comfortable in the agua, sí?

Ok...a little more zzz for the lil'man and we are off to the playa. I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 725pm and libros y leche are occurring as I type and then onto 15 minutos of meditation musica before The Niño Whisperer takes over.

Fotos mañana, but what an interesting and fun afternoon and evening we have had.

Shorter siesta...good that we get to Mojon earlier? We packed up and loaded up and shut the windows in the condo. ¿Por que? Porque we saw some very dark clouds rolling in.

And the moment we left the CP parking lot...torrential downpour. Yikes. The plan was playa Mojon and if it was still pouring, we would eat our comida, have a swim in the alberca and then head home.

And ta-da...half way to the playa el sol came out and we had a mainly hot and sunny time on the beach.

Off to Roman's so the familia could swim and Roman and I had a few chelas and chatted it up. The familia enjoyed the 1/2 size Olímpico alberca and after we were done, into the camioneta verde we went and arrived home at 530pm.

Some clean up and with Max helping his Poppa, we cooked up the camarones y arroz and then had a super yummy dinner. A FT con Oma y Opa, cocina clean up by Bex (gracias), and then onto tina time.

A HUGE downpour just rolled through centro...adios to the satellite signale and the race. Argh. But it looks like the signal is coming in and then going away, so I might have something to watch after all.

Onto bed time and you are caught up.

Mañana...nothing out of the ordinary is planned.

Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Not knowing there was a on/off switch with the iPad, I could not get it working for 615am video time, and thus the laptop came out. Here we have Max y Pudge intently watching a tractor video.

We have not used the laptop in a while and when I fired up the Winnie the Pooh video we have bookmarked, The Great Honey Pot Robbery, Max told me "I love this one". Of course he does!!

Buenos tardes. A full day of el sol here in Huatulco. Happy to report there was less humido...thank goodness!!

A wacky bed time again...libros y leche for 15 minutos, tranquilo time con madre for another 15 and then 45 minutos with me...yikes. But...asleep on his own and in the cuna...at 835pm. Yikes.

But there is a silver lining to the later bed time...it would be the fact there were NO wake ups during the noche and then the only wake up being at 615am. Might be a super score!!

Videos, tranquilo time, huge desayunos, short prowl, Sorianas and then onto libros, leche y 90 minuto siesta.

No siesta for me as I was involved with the plomeros in G10. Good news...after 6 hours with the 3 plomeros working'ish, the condo has water pressure and hot water coming out of the proper taps!!

Not our condo, just helping out R&H, but I am sure they appreciate it. And what was the cost for 3 hombres, 6 hours of work, including some tubo and exchanging a hot water tanque? $2400 pesos...$207 Cdn.

With the lil'man asleep, Bex had her solo bici tour and then a dip in the alberca and came up to watch Max for the last 15 minutos of his siesta and I went to G10.

Then they were off to the cocina for some cooking, some post lunch Lego building I think, and then onto playa Santa Cruz.

I ate a PB sandwich, checked in on the plomeros again, and then was off to el gimnasio. Post gimnasio...back to the plomeros where we tested everything, paid up and then I came home for the clean up, putter around time and tranquilo time tambien.

All caught up...onto the fotos.

Max is telling Marciano what he has spotted...more on that in a minute.

A chico sonrisa from lil'Max.

And then when I warn Max to stay away from the edge of the banco, he inches closer and gives me the cheeky grin. Oh Max!!

What had Max spotted earlier? A large concreto pumper camion and you know what happens next. Max wants to sit on large concreto pumper camion...

Walking back from the banco, Max was in charge of carrying a $200 peso note. We stopped to look at our camioneta verde through the fencing and Max also said hola hola to Hector who was on the other side of the fence.

Hey wait a minuto!!

Hey Max, where did Poppa's pesos go?

Ta-da, they are returned by serio pero tonto Hector.

I am sure he could have used the money as three of the CP trabajadores have borrowed money from us in the last week.

Max...is he taking a "hit" off something?

And then hugging another palma? Oh Max!!

Still working on perfecting low light fotos, but here are a few from ayer. We had woken up and smelled someone smoking in front of our building. It turned out to be a "wacky and raging alcoholic" that lives in another building.

Any who, Max does not like the humo and we go from there.

Max on the banco checking out the situation.

No feliz o contento.

But when I asked him if we should get the water hose and spray the senorita to put out her cigarette, I got this look.

Oh yes my mischievous one!!

And on the theme of fuzzy fotos, look what I found on the crappy Sony DSC W730!!

Max at the Palacio.

I think this is at playa Entrega.

Playa Santa Cruz.

35,0 feeling like 45,0 and they are busking in winter clothes. Yikes.

Otra día at playa Entrega I think.

Ok, you are foto'd up.

Off to cook la cena and I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches!! All good here in Huatulco. A successful playa time for the familia...Max was caught in some olas and without flinching, he let the wave do it's thing while he floated and then when the proper time came, he started swimming again. Bex said she was blown away at how calm he remained!!

They came hone for some oh so yummy rib eyes and then after clean up we were on the road again. A bici tour that took us the the school yard and then onto the zocalo, where there was some silly time for Max y madre in the kiosko, and then Max chased down some palomas while wheeling around.

Tina time and we are currently in libros y leche time. As Max now repeats, his recamara is now for sleep only, so wish us luck with the meditation musica!!

In 20 minutos or so, I will go in and close the show...buen suerte Poppa!! And that was our día.

Misc

Heard coming out of Max's boca during desayunos, after he spilled his OJ? It's ok Poppa, accidents happen.

Mañana? Bici tour in the morning and post siesta we are off to playa Mojon. Some playa prowling and then off to the alberca at Roman's. Home for camarones and depending on the time, maybe a bici tour again. Busy sábado.

The race is also on mañana, but I might PVR it and watch it domingo. Stay tuned!!

Buen fin de semana y hasta mañana.
