The Mayor is out and about, checking on his town.

Well, it is official!! If Max does not sleep straight through until at least 530...the morning will be "fun"...and today was no different.

Bex had the night shift and at 443am when Max is calling out for The Palace, she went into damage control. Some leche, rocking, tears (both of them?) and some firm words, they were both lights out until 620am.

But that 30 minutes of being awake, woke up the fiesty side of Max..and what a morning.

The good news? It was sunny. lol

Seriously, we nursed him through the morning as he tried his best to get a rise out of us. He had a box of my electronics and I told him no tocar, so he brings it to me, to show me he isn't touching it anymore. Oh yes, he is a cheeky one!!

With the 620am wake up, we managed to squeeze in the prowl, desayunos, Che (that was an adventura) as well as familia swim.

As for the siesta? If the Minnow had not broken down during the big storm, they would have been home from their 3 hour tour, 3 hour tour, before Max woke up from his nap. He needed it and I am hoping Momma will report back that they had a great afternoon.

Post siesta...215pm...yikes...I gobbled down a burrito and then it was off to el gimnasio in the camioneta. No way I can walk there and back in time to start the lomo de cerdo para la cena.

But I did pit stop for some gasolina at Pemex...59.2 litros for $745 pesos...$62.08 Cdn or $1.04/litro. Not bad, except the quality of gasolina in Mexico is famoso for being cincuenta-cincuenta...50/50 gasolina y agua!! ja ja ja

515pm and it is time to finish la cena. Hasta pronto!!

705pm and round 1 of bed time ha begun. Happy to report that the familia had a great afternoon..the playa y Club, and then off to one of the palaces. Max had a blast at the alberca, maybe a bit too forceful with some other niños, and had the tables turned on him at the Palace. Doph.

But he handled it well and all was good...until post-cena. He was two hands full until the Palace was clean and he could then have a FT con Oma y Opa...and then hit the Madonna!!

Oh, and possibly the BEST part of the día? During the FT con Oma y Opa, watching mi padre, Max's Opa, dancing AND doing "the move" to Madonna. What a sight...gracias Opa!!

A quick tina time, bed time and you are all caught up.

Onto the fotos...lean martes.

It took a few attempts at getting Max to look at the camera...doph.

But finally...partial success!!

We cut through the tiangus on the way home, time to say hola hola to the many peeps that are working at the comedor economicos inside. They all know Max!! Anyway, he saw this chair, like the one from a few days ago, and decided to take a load off and check out la carta, the menu.

From ayer's gym walk...the stinky camion full of naranjas y niños. Muy triste, very sad.

Ok, off to get the lil'man to fall asleep.

Now, that was the longest bedtime in months. Bex had 30 minutos and The Whisperer needed another 55 minutos. Yikes. But there were some funny moments, like when I thought Max might be lights out, and as singing a song to him, I mention dancing osos, and he starts dancing while laying down in bed. I could not help but smile.

Have a great miercoles...we might be off to the palapa. Stay tuned!!

This is what it looks like when Max says "woof". He is referring to a "pile" we had seen on the sidewalk, and I have spent a lot of time warning him to avoid such piles.

Buenos noches. Another full day and it seems that as the day wore on...so did Max. Doph.

A great morning and due to the 545am, our AM rutina included a familia swim!! We tried hard to wake up Momma, but after 2 attempts, we figured she was pooped out, and we let her sleep.

With 10 minutes left in the swim, who comes running to the pool, looking like she was about to miss her plane? Momma LOVES her familia swim and when she woke up and realized what she was missing, she sprung into action!!

As for the start of the morning, videos in bed, tranquilo time in the Palace, a great prowl which included some fresh cut piña and then home for a huge desayunos!!

Post swim it was leche y siesta time and when that was over, it was time for comida. Poppa headed out to el gimnasio and then I ran some errands. First stop was some clavos, nails, so we can bang in some hooks on the palapa, and then off to buy some focos, lightbulbs.

Then it was home to clean up, putter around and then cook la cena...buritto lunes!!

Post comida, the familia had a time out...doph...but then headed out to playa Santa Cruz, where they met a few families with niños, and Max had a blast!! Lots of chasing each other is what I heard.

Max is looking rougher and tougher as he regularly arrives home with cuts, scrapes and a few bruises. He handles it well when it happens, but is fairly dramatic when he gets home. The "special" crema seems to do the trick, and we will need to pick up some more Polysporin when we are back in BC!!

Back home in time for leche y clean up, and then right into la cena. A bit of a dramatic post cena time...argh...but once Max was in the Palace and reading libros con Poppa, all was well.

Stripped of his panale, Max asked for some Madonna and after a familia dance party, it was tina time and the FT con Oma y Opa.

Off to bed time and he was pooped out once The Whisperer took over. It was a quickie...only 15 minutes and with a parting word of "manos", he was lights out.

The News is on, Bex is hard at work in the oficina and Max has not stirred at all!!

Onto the fotos.

Sprinkler lunes here in Huatulco.

Pope Max, blessing the palomas, birds.

Hoja, leaf, dance.

0 for 4 on getting him to look into the camera, but I still like what we ended up with!!

Post piña prowl.

After working up a sweat, we often head into the 24,0 grado cooled Oxxo, our 7-11. Today, Max bolted to the magazine rack.

So, I had to mosey over and see what he was reading. Oh Max!!

Max's wait station as we were at Poopie Loopie loading up on some meats for the week.

Ok, that's it mis amigos. Have a great martes...Che martes as Max calls it.

Hasta mañana.
