Welcome to viernes.

Great news for Bexico. A guy in Vancouver saw her website and liked the work. He has a quick turn around project and asked Bexico to call him. She did and they agreed on prices etc.

She sent in a “rough”, the guy liked it with a few modifications…and has already paid her!! Bexico has been very busy these past few days as peeps are hunting her out and wanting samples sent for possible contracts. Quite exciting for us!!

Great news for B10. The screen door has already been installed and Nick has approved me to handle the purchase and install of the w&d. we also noticed there is no door sweep so for another $240 pesos, Roman will add this to his list. B10 will be sweeeet by the time we move in.

A different routine for me today…no el gimnasio. I woke up late after an intranquilo (restless) sleep. I was HOT in the middle of the night. No se por que…I don’t know why.

So instead of the gym, whole Bexico did her workout at home, I made the tuna fish sandwiches, picked up the two pairs of shorts that I had at the telas (sewing store) and also picked up some verdura para la cena.

Great score on the shorts as the senorita sewed up a seam on one pair and took in the waist on another…all for $50 pesos.

Off to Mojon and me olvidado (I forgot) to pay Telmex. Drove right by…ja ja ja. Big bill this month. $1000 pesos as we upgraded to their top speed. And in the envelope with the bill…a request to leave our modems on 24/7 as they are providing us with higher speeds…for FREE…but we need to leave our modems on 24/7. Not sure why…but free higher speed? Hello!!

Before we really got going, we took a loom up a side street and saw some funky houses and layouts…all great ideas for Mojon. Quite exciting…still some time to come.

Anyway…no stopping at Copalita coming or going, and no transit police either. But on the way home, it sure looked like the Copalita taxis were going to set up a road block. Lots of taxis with some clogging up the lane headed to Huatulco (we drove in the wrong lane to bypass this). Who knows what is going on?

Mojon was HOT…but sin avispas!! No bees.

High tide and wacky waves, so no boogie boarding for Bexico y conejito. But we will get back next week when the tides are lower.

I took some time and muscle to remove some illegal fence posts that were on the beach and had come loose with the recent high swells. But we also noticed that someone has strung some barbed wire (alambre de puas) blocking the access to the headlands and playa Majuhal. Not sure who or why…but I think it too is illegal.

Our fotos.

The weather was great.

A few clouds over the montañas, but they didn’t come into Mojon until 4pm.

Smiling mom to be chillax’in after a walk and dip en the oceano.

The playa…still some high swells.

UPDATE

Canucks vs Boston…first game in 3 weeks…oops, 5 days. Miercoles el primero de junio…7pm Huatulco time. We will be at Senor Pucks for great food and cold cerveza, dos amigos y Fibre 1 bars brought down from Canada!! Gracias Karen y Randy!!

Back to the fotos…the Tenoche series.

All sweet and innocent looking.

Not totally loco. If he is hot, he is smart enough to take a lay down in the oceano.

But if he does not have a coco…he will run around like crazy until he finds one.

And then the stare down. Once he has the coco, he expects you to play fetch with him…all day long.

And the split personality of Tenoche.

Friendly if he thinks you are up for a game.

And darn loud if you decide not to play the game.

We spent several hours chilling, Bexico did some reading and I did some villa floor plan sketches!! Packed up at 4pm and made it home by 5pm.

Alberca time…solo again. The complex is soooo quiet…we love it!!

La cena was cerdo con papas puree. It has been a while since we have had the cerdo brochette as recently it had not sounded appealing to Bexico y conejito. But they enjoyed it tonight!!

Then it was off to the oficina for Bexico while I watched a cheesy film Rockstar and surfed the net.

Mañana? El gimnasio and maybe buy the lavadora, secadora, y refrigeradora (washer, dryer and fridge).

Domingo is all about racing. Indy 500 and then Nascar…followed by hamburguesa domingo!!

MISC

Here is a link to EA Sports. In October 2010, they ran their NHL simulator and it predicted Vancouver vs Boston in the Stanley Cup....with the Nucks winning it all!! spooky prediction!!

Buen fin de semana.

Buenos noches all!!

How about them apples? Can you believe the schedule for the Stanley Cup Finals? Who runs that league….Bettman or NBC? So much for the “time off” advantage the Canucks had. Oh well…they will still win!!!

We changed our plans for the day…no Mojon. ¿Por que? Bexico needed to make a phone call at 130pm our time. She has another lead on some work and it is time sensitive so we made the call to postpone Mojon until mañana. Not only does she have this lead, but she has also some nibbles on a few more.

Quite exciting as these are unsolicited contacts. They are seeing her website, liking her work and then requesting samples etc. And when she needs a break from all this work…alberca time!! Ja ja ja

Our day…el gimnasio, alberca time, Che and then la cena.

Not much new at the gym…it was nice to see one of Rosa’s amigas, Anna, leave and then return to say adios to me. It is a good group of peeps there.

Still the second most excited hombre (after me) about our expected níno? Elder the tire repair hombre. Today he asks me how many more months and when I tell him cinco, he smiles and calls me Papa. I tell him “hecho en Mexico” and both Elder and his helper both laugh!!

And the big news at the gym?

Galdino loosened the purse strings and has purchased 3 slightly used elliptical machines!! More ways to achieve some cardio.

Here are the rest of the fotos from today.

Our weather.

Cloudy this morning and then a few hours of sunshine. Clouds rolled back in around 2pm, leading to some nice alberca time…not too hot.

Bubba taking a foto.

This was taken via a mirrored wall in the restaurante across the street from our complex.

Not many of these in town.

Perros grandes (big dogs) that is.

Lots of these in town.

You see many senoritas balancing lots of different containers on their heads. Today, it was limes.

Moto (scooter) foto.

Only 3 peeps on this moto…how old is the níno? Yikes. I saw another moto with 3 peeps on it…the padre wearing a helmet and two young nínos sin (without) helmet. Yikes again.

The gas appliance hombre is back.

How many of these hombres are travelling the state looking for sales? Maybe they are related to the wood hombres?

Long distance BONICE foto.

It only goes to prove my point that the Mexican people as a whole are hard working. Something new comes to town and if it has a possibility of making money to help their families, they will give it a shot.

No walk through town today as I was trying to beat the incoming clouds and get some sunny alberca time. It didn’t happen, but as I said, the alberca time sin el sol was nice.

Che was Che…today’s cena is going to be muslo pollo…chicken thighs con arroz y papas.

Good news out of Holland...mis padres flight was on time...no issues with volcanic ash.

Have a great viernes all.
