Here is a VERY quick update from ayer and hoy.
Ayer...gym then we raced out to pick up M&P from the ferry. We had a great lunch and several hours of chit-chat. Also scored on some home made short bread cookies!!
After that we went to an outlet mall...not very exciting. You know you are in Canada when you go to a Quiksilver (surf/beach shop) outlet...
...and then see this sign.
No shorts or rash guards, but that did not stop Bexico from finding some deals!!
After the outlets, we went to Metrotown to get my glasses tightened and see if I could get my iPod case replaced. That business was out of business, but managed to find some workout shorts and new training shoes as well!!
Left Miss Bexico to finish her rounds and I headed to the casino to meet some amigos. Turned out to be a good time, 4 buddies, some cervezas and some blackjack. It would have been a GREAT night at the tables if the double down on the $125 bet had gone as planned. lol Oh well...that is why they call it gambling.
A quick visit turned into 5 hours and then it was time to come home and catch some zzz.
Today was about the gym, returning the rental car and then having our comida (lunch) at our favorite Chinese restaurant, Hons.
While I was at the gimnsio, Bexico dropped off the last of our storage items (pants, wooly socks etc) and somehow managed to hit up an art supply store before picking me up!!
It is wet out there so we scrapped our plan to walk around town from 11-4. Instead, we paid for a 1/2 day extra at the condo so we could leisurely pack and watch once last DVD, The Brick.
Vancouver to San Fran then onto Mex City and into Huatulco for 10am manana. Lots of puddle jumping, but as a sorpresa (surprise) for Bexico is that I checked us in and paid for the seats with extended leg room!! Score.
Okay all...update you manana after we get HOME!!
