Off to Oxxo after smoking a little something something?

Welcome to blog post #1100...brought to you by the words "el sol", which when spoken by a 22 month old niño, sure sounds a lot like another word!!

And Feliz Aniversario to mis amigos Desmond y Michelle...24 años!!

The día? Early start and due to an overcast morning, the boys had a longer prowl before coming home for their desayunos. Good breakfast with a "I'm tired" breakdown right before we finished. But after getting out of his highchair, all was well.

Quick second prowl, with some dancing included, and then home for leche y siesta.

After a great nap, I was off to el gimnasio and then hiding the leche in the empty parm cheese shaker!!

The familia had a quick pick up the zapatos prowl (of course they were not ready) and then home for comida and then off to see the twins and the Play Palace.

We met up at home, had some cena, our tina time y FT con Oma y Opa, and then one of the longer bed time sessions. The lil'man just cannot fall asleep on his own...yet!! Oh stay tuned as one day that will change.

So at 930pm, Bex is hard at work in the oficina, Max is asleep in some stay dry panales, and Bubba updates you all and keeps one ojo on the niño monitor and one on the tube.

Oh, about the panales...we finally found a diaper that can withstand a night of Max's 3 or 4 litros. Yikes. Ja ja ja

Onto the fotos!!

The new shoes are already falling apart...nice. And they would have gone so well with this ensemble...oh well.

All is well as we are a block from the CP complex and Max has scored his dos limons from this arbol, tree.

Doph...red alert...limon down!!

The other day, we saw a cucaracha in this corner, and I started sing the song...la cucaracha etc. Max has picked up on this and now as we approach this corner, he sings, La Gas Oaxaca, La Gas Oaxaca. Hilarious.

Oh Max, what time did you wake up this morning?

Can you say 5am? Yikes.

With Día de la Independecia around the corner, the carts full of banderas and such are ready for a brisk day of sales.

From ayer and someone is having madre attachment anxiety before they go for a prowl to the mall.

Adios Max...adios Poppa. Yes, Max can say adios.

Best part of mi día? When mi familia popped into el gimnasio on the way top their visit at the Play Palace. Always nice to see them!!

Second best part of mi día? Watching Max dance in front of a tienda on calle Bugambilia!! They had a speaker out front and Max spent 10 minutes shaking his buns and doing "the move". Oh yes, Max has his own move and if you ask him to do it, he will shake his leg!!

More new words coming out of Max's boca? Cactus, twins y niños.

Ok, you are all caught up. Have a great martes!!

Buenos noches!!

Pouring rain out there, and it has been that way for most of the día.

The boys had a super sleep and were lucky enough to stay dry during a long AM prowl. One niño and one paraguas means there was no extra mano for a camera…lo siento as there are no fotos today.

Great desayunos…thank goodness as both lunch and dinner were not the norm for the lil’ma.

And on a quick 2nd prowl…torrential downpour sin umbrella…but Super Madre to the rescue!! I am sure peeps are envious when they see the boys huddled up on a step, staying dry and warm, and along comes Bex with 2 umbrellas!!

Good siesta and then we had a familia trip to Che. Raro for all of us to be out together and even though Che was packed, it was fun. We saw the friendly peeps who own or run the neighborhood fruta y verdura tienda. I am always called “Poppa de Max”…welcome to living in the lil’man’s shadow!!

The familia headed t the mall and it’s trampolina, and Bubba put away the Che loot and then had us set up for some of Bex’s oh sooo yummy pizza!!

Ok, I also managed to watch some of the pre-race show!! And talk about lucky…due to the crazy weather, the HD channels are not coming in on the dish…but I have managed to set the PVR to record the race on another channel…score!!

Good dinner, tina time, the FT con Oma y Opa and currently Bex y Max are on round one.

No fotos…but here are the agosto weather numbers!!

We had average highs of 32,7 with lows of 26,8 and 8 días with precipitation. For comparison, here are our numbers for 2012…average highs of 32,8 with lows of 26,5 and 10 días with precipitation. Wow…that was one very close to average month we just had.

What can we expect for septiembre? Historically it is the wettest month of the year, and it is starting off that way. As for temps…average highs of 32,2 with lows of 26,8 and 7 días with precipitation.

Just found THIS link.

Waaaaay more weather information on Huatulco, then you will ever want.

Ok, off to close the show with Max and then settle in for some Nascar.

Have a great lunes and enjoy the rest of your long weekend.
